very interesting on LGBTQ evening on a Wednesday, some good people, some fake ones, occasionally a good laugh with karaoke singing,lots of banter for an old style pub,👍

Great little pub at the bottom of the old market, choice of real ales and lagers.

I really enjoyed the atmosphere in the pub. There were a few disappointments, we waited for 45 minutes for our meal and we were the second order of the day and when it arrived we weren't given any cutlery to eat it with. However the barmaid was so pleasant and understanding she made the whole experience good. The food was absolutely delicious and exceptionally priced. It was lively and a content place to eat, I would recommend it especially the cheese and onion pie. The servings were plentiful.
