Real pubs seem hard to come by, the moorbrook is unsuspecting but genuine as you like, love the moorbrook for being just that.Sit at the bar, chat with locals and very friendly staff, tuck yourselves away in a cosy corner, or enjoy the covered outdoor area, basic but comfy outdoor seating beer barell tables etc all add to the charm.Ales are superb, cracking Guiness, there's a wood fired pizza oven, great range of pizzas, chips, onion rings, halumi fries all go down well with a pint.Not too far from town, it may not be in a picturesque location but that's probably why it's not been taken over and turned into the usual artisan gastro chain!Really good!

It's a real gem beer is good pizzas are better can't believe we at Waltons coach hire pick-up here for the Pne away matches and we didn't know about the food...AND home made saugeage rolls on the bar. WE will be back again and again

What a fab place. Cosy, traditional pub, but then when you venture outside there is ping-pong, a cosy area, and large comfy sofas to watch sport on the large screen. On the night we visited, there were 3 DJ sets, it had a winter ski holiday/Ibiza vibe. The pizzas were amazing too and were cooked in the outdoor pizza oven. I will definitely be going again.

After a long drive we arrived before they had opened but I was let in to use the facilities. Thank you. Good beer and the best pizzas we have had. The Stilton and wild mushroom is to be recommended

Great selection of cask and keg beers plus traditional lagers etc. Nice outdoor area with music and table tennis. Some fine rare grooves being spun when I visited on a Saturday early evening. A real Preston gem.

The Moorbrook is an amazing little pub which has undergone a massive refurbishment to make it an even better place than it already was.It has a small indoor seating area but due to covid they have built this wonderful & big outside area, with lots of cushions and seating and a great vibe.Their food is second to none for a pub, the stone baked pizzas are some of the best you'll get in Preston (served with a local ale!) and their halloumi chips are extremely nice too.Staff are very friendly and knowledgeable.Easily the best pub in Preston.

Ordered the weekly pizza special "You Had Me At Harissa" sticky Harissa Chicken & Halloumi, finished with pomegranate, rocket and saffron infused yoghurt, parmesan chicken goujons, and the Jerk wooden fired prawns. Food never disappoints with a quick delivery.

Great food and beer. Had the Zombieland (meatfeast) pizza, garlic bread with cheese, homemade halloumi fries and spicy chicken goujons, along with a 4 pint growler of The Moorbrooks own Pilsner. Quality food, arrived early and couldn't ask for better service from the delivery driver. 100% will be a repeat customer, keep up the great work! 🍕🍺
