Fantastic pie’s, impeccable service and lovely decor. The chicken pie and the blue cheese steak pie were both sublime. The pie’s are not too heavy, with puff pastry being used with a perfect amount of mash on the side. I highly recommend a visit!

Went with my other half, he loved the beers and would have loved to stay longer!Shame there wasn't a coffee machine for me the designated driver but the reason was explained to me, so I will let them off. We will definitely be back

The Cosy Breakfast was absolutely fantastic. We sat outside enjoying lovely views over the sea. Will definitely return when next in the area.

Excellent beer and a good and ever changing range of beers. The young women behind the bar was friendly and welcoming and we had terrific pies with mashed potato. The chicken, ham hock and tarragon was lovely, just the right hint of tarragon. The pies are quite flat to look at almost like a round pasty but very tasty nonetheless. It was lunchtime and alarmingly quiet. I sincerely hope this place is bouncing at night because I worry it will close otherwise. My only complaint it was very cold inside. There was no way I could have taken my coat off. This is not a fancy establishment, it's all about the beer and people need to go.

If I was rating WSAH on the food alone, it would definitely be a 5 star review. Unfortunately the constant smell of sick made the trip memorable in the wrong way. They also didn’t have many drinks so there’s some work to be done here!

Great spot in preston with a really lovely gentleman behind the bar! Nothing was too much trouble and he was absolutely a fountain of knowledge! A real credit and a pleasure to visit! I will return... 💕

Very busy bar on a lovely cobbled side street off the main shopping zone.Outdoor seating. The decor inside feels quite like a school canteen - looks quite cool. The place looks quite grubby with dirty tables & & used plates & cutlery in them.I like craft beers & visited quite a few local bars the same day in the city but this place is so overpriced compared to the other local craft beers bars. The whole place looks like it needs a deep clean, refresh & new management.Poor - I won't be visiting again.

1st visit here. Nice and cosy and the wood burner was keeping the place warm on a cool January afternoon. Only gripe was the mens toilets being a tad small but all in all a good edition to Preston..

·

Had been recommended this place by a few friends, nice decor feels like a pub. menu is very simple choice of pies or pies and a few snacks like sausge and pork scratchings, I had a butter pie, so did my step Dad and my Mother ate the fish pie we all enjoyed your food very much although I thought the onion in the butter pie was too much normally in a butter pie they mince the onion and but the pastry was lovely and my mother loved her fish pie.

The best watering hole.Fantastic selection of ales and a wide range of takeaway cans too.The staff are amazing, I’d recommend this place first above anywhere else in Preston to come for a drink with friends, family or just to chill yourself.
