Dissapointing, 3 staff stood there and only 1 actually serving even though there was a group of 6 of us waiting. Lord Lucan was very cloudy and therfore very poorly kept. Outside was a mess. Will not rush back unfortunately 😕

Eleven ex work colleagues went for a Christmas Dinner at very short notice due to a cancellation elsewhere. The reason for cancellation was that the venue was short of staffThe staff at the Poachers were polite, efficient and friendly and we all really enjoyed the food in addition the cost was cheaper than our cancelled venue.Will definitely go their again

Stopped in for a drink and something to eat at lunch time, after a walk. Lovely traditional pub, very friendly staff and an excellent 2 course lunch menu for £8!Great beer and very tasty food. Recommended.
