Sherfest was brilliant. A great selection of beers and ales at very reasonable prices. Full menu to eat in. Tables wiped down regularly. Clean W.C. A choice of cash or contactless payments. The performances I saw were really good and the DJ kept everyone entertained. ☆☆☆☆☆

Staff standing round doing nothing. There where 4 of us all ordered different meals and all 4 where not good. I will not be going here again which is a shame as it is local. I would not recommend food from here. Says new menu they need new staff especially a chef/cook. Disappointed 😞

The Sherwood has a new menu looks quite appealing, there was 4 of us all seniors . It was quite busy but not crowded , we waited 45 minutes for our meal , mine was overcooked ,one of my sisters left most of hers and the other 2 meals were pub classic and very average for the price you pay. Not impressed with the service and also lack of information for disabled people on the best way to enter the pub

Booked for my daughters christening and the food ,service and price were 1st class. Really nice hot and cold buffet food received many compliments from our guests and the amount was plentiful. Would highly recommend.

NEVER AGAIN!!!!I should have known things were not going to be good, when they couldn't find my table reservation.Luckily, a table came vacant.Second thing to go wrong was the young lady on the POS, equipment. She was put on it, but no one had shown her how to operate it.I asked the bar man to help her.She managed for a short time.She was struggling, so I told her to get the Supervisor, which she did.I gave our orders....The steaks were undercooked...asked for medium to well done for 1 and well done for the other.Both came red....spoke to the Supervisor...who said..."what do you want me to do? "They cooked them longer !!!!!!( Thankfully, we didn't pay for them).The Burger came with extras, which we stated we didn't want, because of allergies. Had to remove them.Wrong sauce arrived for 1 steak.I watched the Supervisor with the other lady, member of staff, who was nearly in tears.She was clearly upset, by how she was spoken to and treated.I had to speak to her, to comfort her.ALL IN ALL, A BAD EXPERIENCE.We will not be visiting again.

Never been here before but we had a visit to the hospital and lunch was calling. Decor bit run down but seemed clean enough. App ordering or ordering at the bar. I ordered at the bar as we tend to remove coleslaw/mayo etc and app rarely seem.to give the option of making these amendments. Food came out wrong. Coleslaw and tomato on mine and none on my partners. Mixed up. Mine taken away and rectified and a portion of onion rings offered. Had to ask for the items not on partners to be brought to the table. Child's menu asked for hash brown bites and it came with sweet potato fries instead... didn't correct this as couldn't be bothered. Childs dessert took an age to be offered. Food was appropriate to the cost. Cheap.

Highly disappointing asked for starter to come with mains it didn't the pepperoni pizza was swimming in grease and base not cooked properly sent back and was left sat waiting no one came back, onion rings with steak were still doughy not cooked, and the waiters jeans were hanging under his bum no one wants to see that before they eat would highly recommend he buy a belt (2.99 in Primark)

Hardly had any o the food that was on the menu and had to wait ages for food. But the desert was great. Usually never have a problem here so must be something going on behind scene's

It was very nice the gaumme was very good and chips and vegetables on Saturday tea time night for the 60th birthday party 👍🙂😋😋

Nice power up salad and steak. Good value food and friendly pub. I forgot to say the chef took his time to help me choose an alternative meal to my original choice
