"Superb Indian restaurant inspired by cuisine from the 'silk road', an ancient network of trade routes that connected the Far East and Europe, which was central to cultural interaction between the regions for many centuries. You will be greeted by a friendly team and dine in the comfort of a spacious environment with beautiful decor."

Hugely disappointedMyself and my partner had a lovely sit in meal here last week and it was that nice we decided to get a take away as a treat this weekendWas so disappointed, especially for the price !!The Korma was nothing more than a tasteless soup , absolutely horrific , so disappointed though as we had a lovely sit in meal , safe to say we won’t be going back

Went for the first time with my Fiancée on a Friday night and we will 100% be going again!Everything about it was brilliant! The place itself looks fantastic, the staff are extremely welcoming (especially the Gentleman who greets all the guests), the food was delicious, arguably the best Indian I’ve had and good value for money! (Not to mention we got a free starter that they were trailing… always a bonus). We’ve been looking for a new curry house since our local one closed down, this is absolutely going to be our go to curry house in future!

I have been to lots of Restaurants in my time, some good, some bad, but what I will say is that this Restaurant ranks as one of the best, food quality is exceptional, every dish is cooked from scratch, you can taste all the flavours through the meal… excellent customer interaction and the owner has the decency and politeness to welcome you as you arrive… if you don’t believe me, go and see for yourself, you will not be disappointed..

Had a sit down meal for 16 and it was nothing short of a disaster. Main meals arrived before some starters drinks added onto the bill that we didn't receive and plates cleared from table when people had gone to the bathroom. Literally terrible terrible service my young nephew was still eating from his plate and the staff tried to clear it away from him. I went to the bathroom arrived back at my seat to find no plate and all my food had been taken. Staff where rude and very unhelpful and all in all just bad. Never ever will any of us return.

Thought we'd try some authentic Indian cuisine the starter's were really nice and tasty 😋 but thought this is to good to be true the main meal arrived lamb and two chicken dishes this was the worst cowboys and Indian's meal we've ever tasted, had absolutely no taste what so ever so complained to the staff who were apologised and wanted to bring some more dishes out but we declined. Then asked for the bill and wanted to charge us the full amount 🙄 I don't think so the manager came over who was not bothered in the slightest settled on £20-00 . Everyone has different tastes but I'm afraid we won't be going back PPP

When we arrived they explained that they were short staffed due to COVID which was fair enough. However, the restaurant wasn’t any where near full. It took nearly half an hour before they even brought us a drink. Over 2 hours later we still didn’t have our meals, but we noticed 4 groups who arrived after us getting their food before us. When we asked the lady behind the bar if they had possibly forgotten us, she went to the kitchen, they just walked back to the bar without even bothering to come to our table to explain what was going on. So we had to go to the bar and ask again, to which she just said ‘it’s coming’. When I asked why she hadn’t come to our table to explain, she just said ‘I forgot’, then just stood there looking smug. No apology or anything.Shocking service, rude woman behind the bar, average food. Never again

Really excited to try somewhere new with a group of colleagues. I know most of the group enjoyed the food, me not so much but that's a personal opinion. What was worse was the staff. Firstly the way the manager talked to the person who booked the restaurant was a disgrace we did not have as many ppl turn up as we expected due to illness and with the COVID situation they decided to put others first which all of us would have done. The manager took it on himself to withhold her £50 deposit and was incredibly rude. The waiting staff were miserable especially the girl at our table. It took me personally 5 attempts to get food what was not brought out to come. Eventually arriving as everyone else had finished their meals. The £50 should have been taken off the bill but was not he pocketed it as he claimed he lost business. What was interesting was half the restaurant and more was empty the whole time we were there . Not one of us intent to go back we did consider walking out as we should not have been treated the way we were.

Wow wow wow what a takeaway. Everything was spot on, so tasty and cooked to perfection. Lovely venue although closed due to Covid but still doing takeaways. Very friendly nice owners and a big choice of dishes. Even made me up my own bespoke starter selection and a main for my mate that wasn't on the menu. I will be 100% returning the next time I'm in Preston. Take a bow Silk Route you have an amazing restaurant 👌🏻
