I would like to thank the staff and crew for a great Easter Sunday lunch for all our family. Brilliant. Universally delighted. The staff are welcoming, make eye contact, friendly and nothing is too much trouble. They smile.Good pub food and we had a really nice 'private' room to enjoy our family get together. And - welcome packs for the little ones plus Easter surprise packs later. A decent field and play park. No wonder the car park was bursting. The atmosphere both inside and out was amiable and laid back. Also, draught non alcoholic beer is a super offering.Yes, we will come again - especially as you can cope seamlessly with our little horrors!!!!

Had a great meal. The food was really good and such generous portions. The steak melted in your mouth. Staff really friendly and helpful. Will definitely be back.

Great village pub with good lunchtime menu. The pub was busy at lunchtime and maybe the food was the reason why. The homemade steak pie was good with plenty filling. There was also a good selection of real ales. Would certainly visit again

Took my partner and had a great meal. Value for money and staff are very welcoming. Definitely be going there again.

Perfect! Booked Sunday lunch for 26 for my parents Diamond Wedding celebration. Lots of choice on the menu to suit all and everyone said the food was delicious. Everything came out piping hot and altogether. The staff were fantastic, professional and friendly. Could honestly not find fault anywhere and would highly recommend. Well done Stags Head 😁

An absolute country gem!! Love, love love this place!! The menu is great and had so many options, the staff are always super friendly and helpful. The pub is traditional county style, it's very clean and the warming coal fire is charming.

Lovely food for a very filling Sunday lunch. Cask beers limited but what was there was well cared for. Not so busy but our reservation was a good idea.

My first visit here and the food was outstanding. Very pleasant place and the staff were lovely too. We will definitely return.

It's clearly popular, we called in on a wet Thursday lunch time and they were only just able to squeeze us in. Once seated we our order was taken very quickly by a very pleasant and cheery staff member. The food arrived quickly and was very good, I just had a salad but it very tasty, my husband thoroughly enjoyed his gluten free gammon steak meal. A really enjoyable lunch in pleasant surroundings, unfortunately we aren't local or we would certainly be returning.

Brilliant food, everything arrived hot and fresh. Stopped off after royal lancs show, not expecting much as a random pub on the way home.. will definitely be visiting again after the Sunday roast, propper yorkies, roasts and meat all cooked perfectly. Spot on big thanks to Lewis and Holly the members of staff who looked after us. Polite and nothing too much trouble for them
