Food excellent but prices increased dramatically in last 12 months.

Stopped of hear for my tea on the way home. Lovely food really decent portion of chips and a great cheese and onion pie. Lovely service the lady behind the counter was really welcoming too definitely recommend. I Now have a full belly ready for my 1hr drive home. 😁

After all the ratings hype etc expected something too wow us fish was nice chips very average too poor staff though very lovely nothing too shout about better fish and chips local too me without driving 40 minutes "must go to" disappointed

Just had a takeaway from Thorpeys, fish and chips, steak pudding and chips with mushy peas and curry gravy, what can I say, bloody gorgeous, we are staying locally in a lodge and read the reviews and decided try a fish supper, we were not disappointed, absolutely stuffed and I have before me two empty plates.

Very disappointed. The fish and chips were very greasey. It was a very a very good place. But standers have dropped.

Nice friendly service received from the Takeaway staff. Fish was a little greasy but it was nice thick fish and the chips were good. Was a good sized portion. Will definitely try again some time.

Two small "fish & chips" ordered, peas, plus a cup of tea, it was nice to see small portions offered on the menu. I asked for plenty of salt & vinegar on one of our portions to which the staff kindly adhered to my instructions (most chippy's never do) the fish was cooked to perfection, lovely crispy batter, 100% good food and at a very reasonable price. It was our first visit but it most certainly won't be our last!!! also excellent customer service was the added bonus to our visit.

The shop is Easy to find along the main road. The fish is Cooked well with light batter and chips is nice too. The lady at the counter is very efficient and friendly in placing order. They have some tables with bench outside while waiting or have a quick bite. Reasonable price and good portion.

Proper chippy. Great chips with no bits or waste. Proper chippy curry. Hollands pies. Will visit again soon. I highly recomend youptry this place.
