Wellington Inn in Preston

Family run business, working very hard to get the pub back up and running. Glad to see all the black paint work has gone. Looks so much brighter. Very reasonable prices for beer and looking forward to them restarting food very soon.

Interesting back street pub. Some excellent old features now owned by Marstons. Friendly staff. A good place to relax. Recommended

Highly recommended.. considering the situation were all in and the reputation of the pub, the new landlord has tried keeping the old Welly alive while adding his own twist and it works... I highly recommend a visit so you can see for yourself you won't be disappointed

Went in between 3-4pm yesterday, staff were brilliant. Food, drinks and service were all great, all social distancing measures were in place and the venue was clean

Only recently under new management so the availability of ales was understandably limited for now. The great jukebox is thankfully still there though -hopefully it will be on our next visit, too.

Great quirky pub, good music, really trendy. Great outdoor area, pleasant staff and good beer! Would have scored a 5* but toilets let the rest down. Well worth a visit tho!

Went there yesterday for lunch with a friend - found it closed, no notice outside and telephone number disconnected. Scaffolding around the building. Looks like they are having major renovation. They could at least update their website to let customers know what is happening.

It was nice, but I didn't like their payment system. You can only order through a waiter and have to pay at a bar. It's a bit annoying when you have to keep fetching a waiter and walk to the bar and back every time you want a drink.

Had a Sunday roast and drinks at the Wellington. Wasn’t great from the start as the food ticket had Been thrown away/ lost so had to reorder. Food took around 40 minutes to arrive there were only 3 tables full. Staff seemed inexperienced. Food was lovely although was tinfoil on one of the plates. A drink wasn’t available so had to wait for the manger to get back to get the refund who sorted it quickly. Nice food but wouldn’t go again. Review was declined by Preston reviews on Facebook 🤔
