West End Fish Bar in Preston

Probably one of the best chip shops in Preston. Chips are perfect and the fishes are massive.

Always polite, never unreasonable wait times, and managing to keep their prices low. Will defo return (again!)

If you are passing through Preston or live there and fancy fish & chips, AVOID THIS PLACE. The staff dont know what the business is about. £6.20 for 1 piece of fish is overpriced. Fish, chips & mushy peas normally come together, not 6 minutes apart. No spoon for peas, no napkins, cheeky individual touching money and food. Too busy getting her Coke to attend to counter. Never heard of a fish supper! Really? In the wrong job. Give it a miss.

My fish and chips were fresh from the fryer and were absolutely delicious. Whilst working in the area for the next two weeks I think I will be returning several times for dinner or tea x

Min card £5. My food came to £4.90. They take square which in min price from square £1.00 so why min £5? That shouldn't be allowed!!! Same percentage of 1.75 % per transaction if £1 or £5. Don't get it. They would actually save money as square doesn't even charge for low payments!!!

Used to be lovely chippy but it’s gone down hill over the years. Fish very thin and small mainly staff now they don’t seem bothered when owner in it’s much better. They need to get large fish on menu I’d rather pay more to get bigger fish it’s embarrassing last time I just threw it in the bin vowed never to return not been back for over a year now new regular much better

Love this chippy! Great food. Fish is huge and just all round, a great chippy. Tad more expensive than some other chippy shops BUT well worth it for the fresh fish. Only one thing they could do is maybe give meal deal offers at night not just at lunch. But they do cook a mean fish! Nuff said 👍

Great menu, one of the best local chippies in Preston. Their portion sizes are well worth the price and it's cheap and priced well. The staff are lovely and food is made quickly and you don't have to wait that long, even during rush hours. They even do potato fritters which are my favourite

Tried lots of others locally and this is the best around. Good sized portion hot and fresh. Curry sauce is just right. I hate it when it's over spiced. Prices are what you would expect to pay. Wish fish and chip places delivered !
