Black Bull Inn in Ribble Valley

First time visiting this pub today. Was made to feel welcomed and staff were lovely. The roast dinner was absolutely fantastic and delicious. Also had ice cream which was yum. Will definitely be visiting again!

First time at the Black Bull Inn , Old Langho in the Ribble Valley. first glance inside,to me it was worth the trip with oak beams, stone walls kind of a mixture of old and new. Excellent friendly service from the staff (good start). The food , I had steak and ale pie at £15 my partner had the Sunday roast at £17 my daughter and partner had the Roast board at £40. The prices reflect good presentation, value and taste . As a bonus mothers were given small bunch of flowers and cup cake in a box ,a nice touch I thought.

Absolutely fantastic, just spent weekend at lodges near here and came every day to the black bull. The food is incredible and the staff are another level. The place really is a fantastic pub. The food from the main menu to the kids menu is all fresh and delicious (the chicken Kiev is the one to have!!)

Food was great, if more pricey than I'm used to 😉😊...good service, only real complaint was the portions were more than I could handle xx😆👍

Five of us had lunch here, the location was a little off the beaten track but well the visit. We had fish and chips, the steak pie, a beef burger, chicken burger and chicken kiev all of which were tasty well presented and prepared. The staff were friendly and efficient all in all a great pub for lunch.

Went to the Blackbull today for lunch with our granddaughter. Not the first time we’ve been there.Lovely restaurant nice deco.Food, ordered the special that was as described a lovely piece of cod at a price of £22.We also ordered the sea food linguine and a child’s meal.Food came, cod was as big as two fish fingers.Sent it back, chef says this is a smaller portion as it was larger yesterday? and is £18.50.Linguine presentation, appeared to been thrown on the plate, with all the seafood at one side and the pasta at the other.Unless the waiter tripped on his way to the table!Very little seafood in the dish for the price of £20.Was offered a free desert for the miserable cod portion.Requested the bill, guess what? Cod £22! And the free desert at a cost of £7.00! Of course they were on the bill!!!! Maybe we wouldn’t notice, sorry we did.Bill reduced. Lots of competition in the area.Total experience very poor.

Fantastic Sunday dinner. The Roast Board is a great deal for 2. Great atmosphere and fantastic service. 🙌🏻

Absolute pleasure eating here. Setting the standard in the Sunday roast is the aptly named:‘ Sunday roast sharing board’, it has absolutely everything you could hope for. The pub itself is beautiful, the food is absolutely next level, the service is exquisite, friendly and attentive! For Sunday dinner that’s a whole lot more special, I’d highly recommend this place, for what I’d advise as being probably the best roast you’re likely to ever eat!

Visited for family birthday, and from the moment we entered the venue, staff and food were all amazing! The staff were so kind, caring and playful with our 1 year old daughter. The food was sublime and wish we could of sampled more! Never left a review but had to after our fantastic evening at the Black Bull 🐂
