This cafe serves lovely food, is prettily decorated and furnished and has a quiet and pleasant garden out the back for al fresco dining.

Called in here after a wet and windy walk in the area. Was welcomed on entering which was nice to see and once seated the orders were taken quickly. Food was brilliant, had a bacon sandwich and Fries. The bacon sandwich was one of the best I've had anywhere, loaded with several rashes of bacon. If you are in the area visiting and looking for a light bite then pop in here.

Lovely little place, food is delicious and nice staff too. My son fell and bumped his head and the staff gave me some ice to put on his head. Beautiful scenery too. Would recommend.

On Saturday night we went to Brabin's Shop for a meal to celebrate Mum's 70th birthday, with around 20 friends. The food was amazing and the staff were so attentive. A really great night!

Great cafe, possibly as good as it gets. Top notch food, nice sitting inside & out. Great cycling stop. Good VFM for the quality. Fire on, lovely

Perfect stop for late lunch. Egg sandwich - have to say THE BEST I've ever had! That salty topped bread.... yum. Love the glass coffee cup, too. The garden is delightful. Sweetpea envy.

Avoid! This place is very very expensive. ÂŁ15:50 for 2 ordinary coffees and 2 small pieces of mediocre Victoria sponge. We questioned the bill and was informed that each slice of Victoria sponge was ÂŁ4:50! The lady behind the counter didn't seem to think that this was anything extraordinary? It wouldn't have been so bad, but the place itself is not very impressive, small village tearoom, uncomfortable outdoor seating, plain mundane setting; not a place to linger over a coffee. The staff where quite pleasant, but they should be at these prices!

Dropped by the shop whilst passing through on my bike. Was served by a very friendly lady and purchased a very tasty steak pie and a piece of coffee cake. Didn’t have chance to take a look at the gallery, but I will have to next time.

Visited today, sat down , ignored for a while got menus, sat down, no one came another 10 mins, table still un cleared, went in to ask to order, young girl said she will be out on a min, 10 mins later lady comes out.We ask why the delay and why not acknowledged. She replies we do have have shop to run also.Ps it was not busy in the shop.So she then said very abruptly, So do you want to order or not!So we politely said No and left.Shame how the simple politeness and acknowledgement of your customers reaps rewards. We ate elsewhere and retold our experience.Very disappointed
