"We are Shirley & Susan two local Chipping ladies who have decided this is our new adventure. Shirley worked 26 years for local yogurt company Little Town Dairy and Susan worked 39 years for The Gibbon Bridge and along with input from mum (who worked for the Dog & Partridge), they have some good knowledge of the catering industry. We are going to serve traditional cafe food from Soup, Sandwiches, Toasties and a Full English Breakfast along with a great selection of Home Made Cakes is to name but a few of the goodies we have to offer We would love to see you so please do pop along soon x"

The eatery is family run. It has a toilet that is out of bounds though

Totally loved the chicken baton served with salad, chutney and crisps 💕. Honestly say best sandwich ever 😀 My fiance had a breakfast and was equally impressed. Lovely friendly staff. Cannot recommend highly enough

Just stopped after passing through and the town. Lovely food, lovely staff, and very clean. Everything you need from a cafe it does great.

A lovely stop off en route (by bike - cyclists are more than welcome, or car) through the hill country of Bowland. Chipping is a lovely village and the cafe itself is quaint. It’s very basic - but that’s a selling point really, and the food is delicious. The staff were a little hassled on the day I was there and I didn’t quite get the smiley warm welcome others say they received. The teapots could do with a clean. But on the whole well worth the visit if you’re passing, though maybe not a trip specially.
