Oh the sandwiches. Just gorgeous. Good coffee too. Phone your order in if you can.

Good selection of food, made to order. A little disappointed that the cafe wasn't open as they were still operating Covid style safety measures.

As we approaching the border of Yorkshire we saw Delicious and stopped to have a bite there. Unfortunately there was no seating there takeaway only so we bought sandwiches and took them to a park 🏞 place cross the road and found a a picnic seat and eat our sandwiches and the crisps. Then went back for ice cream and bought bread 🥪 and what we needed for our stay which we didn't bring like milk salt and pepper a few biscuits etc

This place lives up to its name. The cafe area is shut but still open for takeaways. Bake stuff themselves. Cakes are...well what's the word? ..delicious! Recommend the chocolate brownie and the gluten free orange and marmalade tray bake.

Lots of yummy cakes, butties and nosh at suitably expensive prices. You pays your money you takes your choice. I really liked it. I didn't go in the cafe just had take outs but the deli stuff in the fridge looked mouthwatering and the staff were friendly and helpful. I would like to go back and sit in for something more substantial and buy some goodies in the deli but I haven't got enough money at the moment. Maybe oneday I'll be back

Always excellent. We don't live in the immediate area anymore but we will always come to visit as food is excellent, always hot, fresh and just delicious 😆Staff are absolutely wonderful and always a delight to see everytime we go. Thank you so much as always! Highly highly recommend and have recommended others to go who also enjoy it so much!!!

An adorable village deli with surprisingly lots of choice. I enjoy a good cup of tea from a teapot with a sticky flapjack. The sweet jars and ice creams are popular with the primary school children at the end of the school day. There are approx 7 tables to sit at - I’ve never had a problem finding a spare table in the afternoon. There’s also groceries available to buy and sweet treats, bottles of gin, etc, and cards to buy for gifts. There is a minimum spend of £5 if you want to pay by card, so I usually end up picking up some cat food or something to make up the £5.

A warm welcome at this out-sales and sitting-in delicatessen and cafe with a variety of offerings on the menu: simple food, but to suit everyone’s taste, and at a reasonable price. I was especially impressed that there was a ‘Ploughman’s to Share’ on the menu for £15 but as there was only me they were willing to halve it and charge me appropriately - good service...and there was more than I expected even in a half portion so I was able to take some home! My only reservation is that the seating area and washroom facilities are up a step and may be a little inaccessible for people with restricted mobility, but this apart I fully recommend this as a stopping off place on a journey along the A59 or for a deliberate trip as a destination.

Our favorite cafe for breakfast (other mealtimes are available) Great food and coffee, all served with cheer and good banter. The only downside is we can only get there once a week!
