"This striking village Inn combines a bustling country pub with contemporary dining rooms. Feature fireplaces and large central bar and tap room create a series of ambient spaces perfect for drinks with friends, or a special dining experience. Set in the lush Forest of Bowland, between Longridge and Chipping, the Derby Arms is popular with walkers who are able to enjoy some of the most remote walks in the English countryside and stay the night in our country pub with rooms."

Fantastic pub out in the countryside, cold beers, delicious food and friendly service, highly recommended. Dog friendly too. Try avoid sitting near the bar as it becomes quite unpleasant when big groups of walkers all arrive at the same time and gather noisily in the small space at the bar.

Great little find. Lovely pub/restaurant with friendly, helpful staff and the food was amazing. Our server, Lauren, was friendly and made us feel welcome. My 8oz rump steak was cooked to perfection Will definitely be back and we can highly recommend for a nice treat.

We stopped on a weeknight on their special winter ‘free room’ deal and it didn’t disappoint, food and service was exceptional, the best fish and chips I have ever had! Room was nice, modern and clean and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Would recommend from our experience the Derby Arms to anyone!!

We stumbled upon The Derby Arms purely by chance. Although a little off the beaten track, we are so glad that we did. As a country pub/restaurant it was exceptional. The food was outstanding, in regards to freshness, quality and taste, it simply could not be beaten. Although the menus are angled more towards seafood, lots of other dishes were available.Portion sizes were great and the service was of the highest level. Very attentive staff and our experience could not have been better. We stayed over for the night and the rooms were comfortable, decorated to a high standard with every amenity you could ask for. Lovely sized rooms too.Breakfast the following morning was delicious with many different options. As we stayed on a Saturday night, I'd recommend booking a table at the restaurant due to how busy it was.All in all pretty faultless, keep up the excellent work and we look forward to returning.

Food was lovely, but had a long wait before pudding. Service was slow, partly due to the card machine not working. Another customer was waiting at the bar at the same time as my party were paying (we had been asked to go up and pay individually by cash if possible), and staff hadn't explained to him what was going on, so he was making passive aggressive comments and then having a bit of a swear behind my back about having to wait! Overall a good night with nice food and excellent company, but I'm not sure I would go back.

Amazing dog friendly, 5* plus restaurant The food was absolutely to die for - extremely high standards maintained through the whole place. The fillet steak is absolutely to die for and the chefs know exactly how to cook it to perfection. Cannot recommend higher. The staff are also super friendly, welcoming and accommodating see you all very soon!

Had lunch here on a Sunday recently. Fillet steak was very good but the fish pie had too much potato and not enough tasty fish. The chocolate brownie for pudding was first class. Good atmosphere and friendly staff.
