Food is excellent here, as is the service. Probably my 8 time here. Dont sit near the kitchen, can get noisy.

Food and service is up there with the best. Not an extensive menu, but what you get is the best it can be.

Wow! Just wow! We’ve been here several times over the years and have always been blown away by the food we’ve had! Be it Sunday lunch or Saturday for dinner. Amazing food, and service. No wonder it’s won so many awards! A hidden gem!

This was our winter treat at the Freemasons. We took advantage of the special offer of an overnight stay and 7 course taster menu. The bedrooms are fabulous, so stylish, modern and great decor, not to mention the luxurious bathroom. Very happy! As for the food, it was delicious. Lots of bold tastes and combinations. Quite a talking point. The beef was sublime. Breakfast was a taster experience too. No wonder they were awarded 5th place in the Estrella Damm 50 best Gastropubs in the UK. Hats off to the team there and to Mr Smith.

The lunch/early set menu gave an affordable access to a very special experience. Exquisite food, excellent service & a comfortable and homey, but professional environment. A very special treat for a special occasion with family

We came as a group of four and had the autumn set menu. The food was absolutely delicious from the snacks and brioche bought out at the start, all the way through to the pavlova pudding. Portion sizes were perfect, overall cost was excellent value for money, and food was served in a timely manner with enough gaps to digest each course. The only tiny niggle was, where we were sat, there was a mounted corner cabinet that I banged my head on sitting down and had to adjust my place setting to avoid continuously banging my head on it through the meal. Overall though a wonderful meal and a highly recommended venue.

The food was absolutely fantastic! I enjoyed the lunch time set menu and my partner had the a la carte menu, both were exceptional. Staff were friendly and attentive, we will definitely return.
