Lovely place, wonderful views of countryside, especially from the garden. Nice beer. Menu looks good but we didn't stay or eat.

This is an oasis of calm near Clitheroe. You are transported into another World from the moment you arrive. The bedrooms are outstanding, even having a small fire in case it's a bit chilly, which it wasn't but we put it on anyway, for coziness.Dining at the Inn is also a gourmet experience, fabulous menu of fish, meat and vegetarian options. Delicious.Although expensive, you do get every pennyworth.

The Inn is a true country 'pub' with flag stone floors, roaring fires, tail wagging dogs and many friendly faces. We had a wonderful lunch however, there are no vegetarian or vegan options. The staff will try to accommodate you by suggesting alternatives. I was fine as I still eat cheese and butter. I do not know how a vegan would be catered for.The champagne and wines were gorgeous and the beers were greeted with gusto.

This is one of my favourite places to eat and visit. The fish pie was its usual excellent self and the cheese pie (don’t be put off by its small appearance) was very tasty though a bit more sauce in the homemade beans would be good. Staff great, prices good, atmosphere friendly with log fires aplenty. Can’t wait to go again. 👍

Called in without a booking on my dad's birthday. A very helpful waitress managed to squeeze us in which was lucky as they were very busy serving lunch. The food was delicious. I had the fish and chips and my dad had the lamb which was superb, very tasty indeed. Thank you for fitting us in and next timeI'll be sure to book.

Phenomenal hotel! By far the best hotel I've stayed in since COVID. Incredibly welcoming staff, a fantastic wine selection, the rooms are immaculate with such character. Need I say more about the bathrooms, the 360 shower and Victorian style make this place surely worth a stay! Also, Molton Brown toiletries...The Inn is incredibly dog friendly, take them everywhere and do everything with them except the dining hall (you can dine in the bar area instead). If highly recommend a stay here and I'll certainly be returning. Thank you for a wonderful stay

We booked dinner on Boxing Day for the first time and we had a lovely family evening. Excellent menu and service, thank you! Looking forward to coming back and bringing Ruby 🐶.

It Is the most wonderful warm, welcoming hotel. Always wonderful but especially enjoyable sitting near to the lovely open fire when it's cold & wet outside. We particularly appreciate the details of local walks which are available in reception. The surrounding countryside is beautiful & the walks spectacular - perfect to give you an appetite before enjoying the excellent food at the hotel. We love it.

Had a lovely stay here; cosy and welcoming on a cold autumn day with open fires and wonderful food. The view from our room was beautiful to wake to on a crisp icy morning. We particularly liked the shop which had an excellent selection of wines and great gift options; posh chocs homemade marmalade etc. Service was friendly and unpretentious. Would have liked a couple more vegan options but all in all a great place to eat and stay.
