Millstone at Mellor in Ribble Valley

I would strongly recommend a stay at The Millstone, in Mellor. A really warm welcome on arrival. Helpful staff on reception, at the bar and in the restaurant. The double County room I stayed in was very boutique, high quality decor and furnishings. Definitely five star accommodation. The food in the restaurant for dinner and breakfast was delicious, and certainly fresh local produce.The wines, beers, cocktails and flavoured gin choices were extensive. Ideal place to stay as a solo traveller.

Have one good room for wheelchair user, not large but acceptable, good bathroom facilities with plenty of grab rails, walk in shower. Excellent food in restaurant very good staff. Would recommend.

A cosy and tranquil place to stay, offering excellent food in a bright and well appointed dining area. The staff are always helpful, friendly and very acommodating. It's a real home from home and well placed geographically for exploring the North West area and all it has to offer.

Beautiful Pub with Lovely bedrooms.Food was excellent as was the feel of a roaring fire and don’t forget George the house cat.Staff were all very friendly.

Sunday birthday lunch.Without question everyone said they had a really great time, the food was lovely, all hot, fresh and everyone was happy with what they had ordered. The Prosecco was chilled to perfection and was amazing.To top it all off the lady who was looking after us (and her colleagues) was absolutely brilliant, she helped with everything from setting up, to welcoming guests, pouring drinks, cutting cake and she tended to our every need. She was so amazing and gave us the very best attention and service we have ever had. She really made our day because her attentiveness made it so relaxed and stress free.

My second visit to The Millstone was for my partner's 50th. We had a party of 16 and the service was top notch. The food was amazing and enjoyed by all. It was a really great night and we were well looked after by the staff. I was able to drop off a few table decorations and cupcakes before the meal (in secret! ☺️) , as a surprise.Will definitely be back 😁

Wonderful food, excellent service, staff very friendly and professional. Tables spaced out, good old fashioned service and relaxing atmosphere, enjoyable food, not hurried. A nice leisurely lunch

Another excellent meal at the Millstone. Roast beef with all the trimmings cooked to perfection. Phoned late afternoon for a table at 6. Great service and lovely staff.

Great place to eat. Always good food with very friendly and helpful staff. We stayed overnight and everything was superb from the moment we walked in. Definitely one to go back to. We'll done to all.

We stayed here for a Sunday night on Dinner, Bed, Breakfast. The room was lovely clean and a nice size. All the staff were very friendly and happy, best of all the was the food! Dinner was very good quality and a really good selection for breakfast. Would highly recommend.
