Went to visit today on the way to look at the Roman Baths, on approaching, my dog did his business and we had left the doggy bags in the car. My partner entered the cafe and apologised and asked for a bag to remove the mess, a lovely young girl told us not to worry and she would sort it. We went outside to wait for a bag as we was going to remove it ourselves when one customer took it upon herself to close the cafe door on us. The cafe door stated dog friendly so we re-entered carrying our small dog and started to look at the menu. Another customer then stated loudly that she thought dogs weren’t allowed on the premises, the owner i presumed came downstairs, and asked abruptly if she could help us, my partner replied we were just looking at the menu to which she said they are only doing coffee and cakes, my partner replied that’s fine and she told us to go outside and she will come out for our order. We left at this point as we clearly not the owners normal clientele, we clearly didn’t speak or dress nice enough and our money mustn’t of been good enough. If you don’t speak with a nice accent or drive a 4x4 then avoid.

Were made to feel very welcome. Enjoyed our painting after a high quality lunch at a reasonable price. Looking forward to returning.

Spent a happy couple of hours here in early Jan 22 painting pots with my daughter, son in law and 2 grandchildren. It was well organised in a friendly environment- and the team were helpful. Looking forward to picking up the finished items once they’ve been glazed. Happy to recommend.

What a surprise! What looks from the outside like a tiny shop is well proportioned inside, with a lovely outside seating area at the rear. All very well maintained and welcoming. Take away service also available.Beautiful homecooked food, huge portion sizes, and a gorgeous gift area. The staff were all very friendly and a lovely touch was a bowl of water and plate of biscuits for our pooch!

Had a wonderful first visit today with my little one. Delicious food and very reasonably priced.

Colourful café with a huge choice of cakes! Last week went for a meal, this week just a brew n a cake. Went with mum who is elderly. All the food is delicious and presented nicely too. Mum had a veg stew & I had crab cakes & salad. Good selection of hot drinks plus decaf available. I'd advise booking a table if you're going for a meal & it's within the school holidays because it was very busy. We were able to turn up & get a table though when we just came for a brew & cake about 4pm. Reasonably priced. They have a takeaway counter too.

Lovely cafe at the midpoint of a decent walk. Great to see them open with such a good range of scrummy feasts post-lockdown. Good social distancing and hygiene provisions and friendly staff. Can recommend the avocado and eggs to keep you going as a light lunch. Spot on!

Great choice of menu, best I've seen for vegan and vegetarian, I had the pea and ham soup, it was really scrummy. All meals were very reasonably priced on average ÂŁ6 to ÂŁ7. It's got a really welcoming feel and a warm fire also to make you feel at home, lovely.

Lovely little cafe, with very friendly staff and a good selection of food, including vegan cakes! They may want to offer half the size slices though, as they were huge! You do get your money's worth. Very pretty, positive, chilled and colourful, and definitely worth a visit when in Ribchester.
