Ribchester Arms in Ribble Valley

The Beef, potatoes and Yorkshire pudding was very nice but the amount of veg for two people was minimal. Otherwise it was a good, handy place to eat.

We popped in for a just few drinks on our walk and ended up snacking, we weren’t disappointed! Lovely food and atmosphere; all served with a smile! ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️

It was a bright day, so my daughter and I had our lunch al fresco. Service was friendly and professional, both lunches were enjoyed very much, and we aided our digestion with a stroll in the village to see its Roman remains. Very enjoyable afternoon.

Had a really lovely experience! We all had a fabulous meal and the presentation and portions were exceptional.Will highly recommend.The two ladies serving were very attentive, welcoming and very friendly.

Lovely pub, most staff are very friendly, it was very busy the day we went in and a couple staff were a little stressed and it showed in there attitude. All the general British pub grub was lovely but a couple of us tried something a little fancier (scallops) and they were poorly prepared and the choice of sweet chilli sauce just dominated the scallop as it was dumped all over it. Served with what appeared to be instant noodles. Definitely stick with the pie, the lamb (it’s delicious) and other pub fare. All in all a lovely place for a basic lunch or dinner.

Came here for a family meal after visiting the Ribchester Roman Museum. I am passionate about all things food and drink especially Spanish and wider Mediterranean and I have wrote published blogs for many years on this, but wherever you go in the world you cannot beat good old pie and mash. Friendly staff, family pub, warm atmosphere and honest great tasting British pub favourites with a real ale or 3 lol. Highly recommend this place.

I had a very enjoyable evening at Ribchester Arms on Friday. Had a few drinks and a meal. Five of us shared 3 starters and a main each. Several drinks and the bill was a reasonable £130. I can recommend the pate starter and both the chicken in a tarragon sauce and the buillabaisse main. Staff friendly, cheery and on the ball. Been before and will go again soon.

The portion size is very good and most importantly the food was delicious.The serving staff are very friendly, courteous and nothing was too much trouble.A very enjoyable evening in clean and pleasant surroundings, the rooms are tastefully decorated and the ambiance embracing - from setting foot in the door we were made very welcome.Definitely worth a visit - my partner and I will be visiting again.Thanks for a lovely evening and experience.
