One of the best cafes I have ever been to. Food was beautiful and the brownies where to die for. Quite hidden but signs are easy to follow

Moved into the village yesterday and already we have a new favourite spot. Wonderful, friendly and welcoming staff. Scrumptious, locally sourced produce. And service with a smile that can not be beaten. A wonderful selection of cakes and just about the best hot chocolate I have ever had. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Would absolutely recommend as a pitstop from one of the beautiful walks around here or to just catching up with friends for coffee. ❤️

Great little quirky cafe! Lovely owner's, quality sausages, spooky/Harry Potter theme, well priced.Definitely worth the 5 star review. Only thing I'd change is better sauces for when eating in 😁

Amazing friendly service every time I’ve been. Great to know it is run by a local family, who are all lovely to speak to and make every effort to be kind and courteous when they are serving customers. The food is of excellent quality and superbly priced too! I always treat myself to one of the cakes/baked goods displayed on the counter as they truly are delicious.Well behaved dogs welcome, water bowls are provided and they even sell locally supplied dog treats too.All in all Sanwitches is an amazing place to go for a snack, drink, lunch or to grab a takeaway, make sure to check them out. You’ll be happy you did.

A warm welcome in this village cafe - not your city centre slick place, but basic wholesome fare at a reasonable price. The premises are loosely themed around the local Pendle Witches legends but this is not intrusive. They are also extremely pet friendly, with dog snacks and water available while you’re eating. This is an excellent place to start a walk around the local countryside (but don’t aim to finish here as it closes early at 2pm). The menu is varied; and I’d like to say basic except there’s an additional crepe menu with slightly more continental. There’s also a good take away menu which supplies the village workforce. This was a good find and certainly somewhere to return: I will!!

I can't speak highly enough of this place. Yes I am a friend and have also done a few shifts there too! This qualifies me to rate the fabulous local produce they serve using award winning local businesses for their meats, pies, cakes and bread.I eat here regularly and always enjoy the company of Christine and Spike. Yes they close at 2pm but this is well advertised so not sure why this is a problem. Recent unpleasantness caused by another local business has unfortunately caused unrest in our lovely village but the people who live here know the true facts and support the cafe wholeheartedly! The food is fantastic and plentiful so its not a difficult task to support them.Sad that I felt the need to write this because of people purposely writing unpleasant reviews with absolutely no foundation! Keep up the good work lovely people!P. S anyone who takes exception to hand baked doggy treats has no soul!!!

We went from Sabden for a walk up Pendle Hill with our grandchildren and on our return, we visited this cafe for a bite to eat. We received a warm welcome on our arrival. The food was very reasonably priced and served quickly, bearing in mind that it is all freshly prepared. There was a nice ambience in the cafe and it was a pleasant eating experience. For us, the other bonus was that dogs are welcome too. If you are in the area and looking for something to eat, try this place, as you will not be disappointed. I will certainly call again when I am next in the area.
