Lovely atmosphere, quite a few tables, delicious all day Breakfast, the sausage was huge and one of the best I have tasted, staff friendly and pleasant, overall good value for money

I've walked past Tastebuds so often that i liked the concept of this place so thought today was a good day to grab a flyer on a dog walk... staff may have been training as there seemed to be an issue with size of scoop to serve. With the award this place has been given I have a feeling my experience was a blip. I was confused with the large table of products for sale...with niceties but then random rubbish such as glow sticks in front of the counter which made it hard to reach a take away drink. On a plus side the food looked delicious and I'm sure that it must taste it too for the amount of people using the restaurant. The lady behind the till was very helpful/smiley and attentive however the lady at the coffee machine seemed to spend more time chatting and watching/interfering with her colleagues than being aware that customers are watching and can be impatient and not understanding when waiting for their purchase.Loved the colour scheme and the dog water bowl is a lovely touch.Seems such a negative post from me.. I really didnt like writing this.

Lovely cafe, absolutely one of the best sausage rolls I've ever had. They use locally sourced meat too.Amazing selection of cakes including gluten free ones. It's bigger than first meets the eye as there is seating round the corner of the establishment.Clean and tidy toilets facilities as well.Nice selection of items and nic naks to buy as well and very reasonable prices.Recommend.

I loved this place in its previous incarnation of Benedict, and Tastebuds have ably picked up the mantle.Tasty food, reasonable prices, quality service. Always worth a visit when in Whalley. 👍👍

We had a lovely brunch from start to finish. All staff friendly, good atmosphere and setting. We all wanted to make small changes to our meal, which was no problem and our server helped us get the best value for money. We were also able to get a takeaway breakfast and latte for out daughter, who couldn't come as she had tested positive for Covid in the morning. We'll be back. Advisable to book, especially if there's a few of you.

Really liked our lunch here. The baguettes look really big, unfortunately they'd ran out, so we had a breakfast instead which was really nice! Whalley is beautiful too.

Went to this brilliant cafe again! It is situated in the wonderful small town of Whalley which is well worth visiting .I can honestly say that they serve the best cheese and onion pie anywhere..the great plus being that the pastry is so good that I do not get indigestion even though its cheese. The salad that came with it is also really good not just a couple of leaves, its really tasty.I must say I was not a fan of the home made chips and would go for potatoes next time. If there is such a thing as the wrong type of potatoes to use i would say these were what was used. I like my chips crisp on the outside and soft inside. However I would still give 5 stars for outstanding food and service at a very reasonable price and I will be returning.

Visited today for the first time after being recommended. We were not disappointed. The staff were so lovely and attentive, despite being incredibly busy and our food, soup and sandwiches and a breakfast skillet arrived quickly. The coffee was simply the best I’ve had, delivered by the barista/ manager who although was very busy, took time to pass pleasantries with us and answer local questions. She really was lovely .We would highly recommend this Gem in Whalley

The afternoon tea/coffee was splendid at £15 per couple and willing to let you take a doggy bag if you struggle to manage it all! Really lovely staff who make the experience extra special! Also take a note of live music and activities on the notice board, i think i will be back to one of the acoustic sets. Enjoy!
