Lovely welcoming place we came for one night on the motorbikes .. Rooms were clean and tidy could do with a bit of TLC but definitely more than adequate . Staff were great in particular the lovely lady who cooked and served our breakfast definitely worth considering if you plan to visit the area 🤓

Lovely pub. Dropped in for lunch. My sandwich was fresh and tasty. Unfortunately there was no gluten free bread for my friend but she enjoyed a bowl of freshly made chunky chips. Lady who is temp manager was lovely and so helpful. New manager due to take over next week

Last minute booking and absolutely loved the place. Already booked to go back later in the year

·

Clean and comfortable beds, excellent breakfast which was freshly cooked, welcoming host, 2 home-cooked tasty pizzas and a bottle of Shiraz for £25 in the bar Recommended

·

Service was very poor and staff didn't seem to know what they where doing. I was in a party of 6, they got the order wrong and 2 of the meals came out very late.

·

Dog friendly pub. Good food and husband loved the beer.

·

Excellent value "no frills" accommodation. Large comfortable en suite room. Good cooked to order breakfast. Lovely staff. Wish Sarah and her team every success with this new venture.

·

Good selection of beers , nice warming log fire. Very attentive and friendly staff. Well looked after.

·

Really lovely village pub, having only been reopened for a few months and under new ownership it is just developing its identity great choice of beers and bar staff polite and helpful.

Absolutely atrocious, arrived and told it was an hour wait for the food. This was fine so we ordered a couple of packets of crisps to see us through! 1.5hrs later went in to ask about the food to be informed we hadn’t ordered anything because we’d ordered crisps so they hadn’t put our order through. Not got an issue about us, but the two kids left extremely hungry after a long walk and the promise of a pub lunch have been extremely let down. Not even sure why there was an hour wait at 3pm as it wasn’t overly busy!
