The Dog Inn in Ribble Valley

Called in on Saturday for a snack ,I had hot chicken sandwich with chips and salad , my wife had prawns and salmon sandwich with chips and salad both were excellent and very tasty and good value for money. The staff were very helpful and friendly and there was a good atmosphere in the place excellent views over the countryside from the beer garden, I will definitely go back again👌😀

Brilliant food and really good service. The stag are very friendly. The menu changes regularly so you always get a good offer of food

Bar staff are amazing but horrified to hear that the manager/co-owner takes a percentage of the tips.Don’t get me wrong, I’m all for equal sharing of tips but the manager should rethink his behaviour. Tips are a given for the service and to supplement their earnings, not line the pockets of the owners. Disgusted.

Went to the Dog Inn today for Sunday lunch. WOW what a Sunday lunch. First class food with service to match. The veg alone was worth the visit infact couldn't fault anything on the plate . Well done the staff at the Dog. 👍👍👍

Came here for fathers day meal, we were places into our own separate room the service was amazing the food was divine and couldn't fault it what so ever

Dined at 5pm on a Saturday with a limited menu. Specials had gone and half of the 5 main courses gone. Don't know what there going to eat this Evening!!!

Not a big menu but food was very good. Fish chips peas was great..really tasty. no pics of main meal couldn't wait to eat it

We only popped in on route home from fishing to Blackpool ....so glad we did .. absolutely brilliant staff and food was fantastic....the interior is surprisingly modern and spacious...really clean and we'll laid out....will be back.

My 2 friends, my dog and I had a meal here for my friends birthday. What a lovely experience. The restaurant is clean, warm and has plenty of space so felt adequately relaxed throughout. The balcony at the back of the place offers plenty of outdoor seating with stunning views of the ribble valley.The food was of excellent quality, the portions were plenty to fill us all. The steak was cooked to perfection and tasted wonderful as did the accompanying vegetables, it was certainly fresh produce.All this gave to the perfect evening for us, made more so by the not overly attentive, friendly staff.Thank you to the chef and team. I will be calling again when I visit Longridge again..

Great pub we found on the way back from a walk on the beech. Beautifully restored building with great historical details far away from a themed pub. Dog friendly too. Sadly special dish I fancied had sold out but that meant I had my second choice of fish and chips. Glad I went for the small- still a great portion with delicious flaky fish in a light, crispy batter. Would definitely return and hopefully have a look round the village next time. Good job it's not more local !! 😂
