The Wellsprings Inn Pendle Hill in Ribble Valley

A gem of a restaurant, nestled within the beautiful hillsides! All of the staff that dealt with us were very friendly, and nothing was too much for them. The food was delicious and the portion sizes were very generous, which made it excellent value for money. We will definitely be returning.

Liked the ambiance. The restaurant is sitting at the top of the hill. Mind the narrower road and wandering sheep. Pretty views over Clitheroe and surrounding hills.tgeres an ice cream parlour, bar, little charity shop all onsite.Staff pleasant. Clean restaurant and tables. Food - it was ok, we had a sharing platter- beef, calamari, chicken ,prawn & mussles looked better than it tasted, definitely not spicy mexican!!!! Tabasco helped!

I had the steak, medium rare, was deliciously cooked perfect.Table service was lacking.No urgency about the waiting on staff, when we eventually got a menu, we was left alone for some considerable amount of time, before they came back to ask if we was ready to order, disappeared again, before eventually taking our orders.Drinks were slow to appear, again, waitress taking orders but not bringing them for ages.Plates & glasses were not removed off the table between courses, or when fresh drinks did arrive, we had to ask the waitress if they could clear the dirty plates away, which again was absolutely no rush for them to do!!The restaurant was not even busy, I would hate to visit when it is, for the majority of the time the staff was stood around chatting to each other.

Fantastic food and ambience as always. Really great setting for a romantic meal or a family get together.. portions are a good size so be prepared to feel very full which is good considering the great quality of the food. If you go during the daytime the views are amazing. At night it feels as though your away on holiday somewhere not in grey clitheroe.. I had the stuffed peppers which were so good and so filling!

The food at Wellsprings is phenomenal, absolutely delicious! I have to keep going back ! The staff are so friendly and always have time to chat. Also they make the best margaritas ever!

An absolute GEM great food and service. My fav the dessert .. Tiramisu was delish and freshly made! Also met the owners sweet couple. RECOMMEND ago give it a try.

The staff are really helpful, attentive and courteous. The place was clean and warm. We had a table for 13 people, and we all cleared our plates. We even needed a bespoke salad for a fussy eater, and nothing was too much trouble. The food arrived quickly after ordering, always a bonus. A really nice evening, with good food. I had the Chicken Enchilada - it was delicious 😋.

Another visit to this delightful restaurant up on Pendle Hill, home of the Witches of Lancashire. We had our usual assortment of starters which were as delicious as usual. Service was exceptional. Chatted with the owner Catherine who's birthday it was last week.

Amazing food, not badly priced either for how much you get. Friendly staff and lovely views from the balcony. Would definitely go again

Never fail to have a great evening here. Food always hot and cooked to perfection. Very friendly and attentive staff. Great atmosphere. Good place for couples, family and friends ❤
