The White Bull Hotel Restaurant in Ribble Valley

Rooms are spartan, but OK. Warm and dog friendly. Staff were welcoming and friendly. Large car park. Clean and tidy throughout. Reasonable priced. The only let down was the food. The meat was OK but the rest looked like it had been reheated several times. The Yorkshire pudding was like cardboard. The roast potatoes were hard and leathery. The veg was all crinkled. Pudding tasted burnt, but luke warm. Breakfast was minimal.

Place itself looks beautiful. However on closer inspection we arrived, the female toilets were not clean spelt. The upkeep was not very good. Toilet seats hanging off etc. We then went to our room and it was disgusting. We had to clean the room ourselves before we were able to stay in there. The bed, beams, mirror and fixtures were thick with months worth of dust. There were cobwebs in the corners and windows. The tap in the bathroom was broken and just span around and was scalding hot. The shower was almost unusable at a guy at 5ft 11 and around 17st. I could not shut the door as I hung out the cubicle. I was served a pint in a dirty glass. (Dead green fly stuck to it. ) when I pointed this out to the bar staff they wiped the glass clean with a dirty rag from the bar and then gave me it back . We were promised a refund for the first nights stay due to the experience and when we went to question this the owner was rude and no apology for our experience was given. Service was poor and staff were too busy talking to deal with you and you wait for an hour for a poor breakfast. Overall extremely poor accommodation, service, food and staff.

We visited for our anniversary meal on a Saturday evening. The food was generally good although they had run out of our dessert choice so we ended up only having a starter and main course.The main issue was the 2 pub crawl parties who arrived during our meal; the second literally a coachload of men! It was difficult to hear each other across our table without shouting. We asked to move table which was little better. Not a relaxing or pleasant atmosphere for a meal. Whilst I understand the pub might not be in a position to turn people away, they should have made allowances for diners. The waiter acknowledged the situation but if I were in charge I would have maybe offered a free drink or something at least - would've shown goodwill and left less of a poor impression

Disappointed that was charged extra for earlier check in. Was in a position where had no choice but to pay. No cups provided, quilt stained, no hot water at sink. All small things but overall gives a poor impression of the venue. Excellent breakfast, just a bit slow getting there.

After trying the Anchor Inn last week, we thought we’d try the sister pub this week and we’re so glad we did! The food was just as delicious and I even got my extra pigs in blankets ☺️ The staff are really friendly and Emma and Lexie made us feel at home. Well done and we’ll be back here too .

Holidaying in a lodge complex close by and thought it would be nice to try the local pub and we weren't disappointed. Lovely friendly staff, very welcoming, Great food and great prices. Definitely going back. Oh whilst I remember a great pint too.

Great and awesome service. Staffs was friendly and attentive! Food was delicious and unique. Would definitely recommend it to my family and friends. Chef Adam was friendly and knowledgeable too. Overall I had a great experience there. Thank you White Bull team!

Tasty food, nice decor and friendly service. Lets dogs in too which is a huge plus! However, the toilets were in a filthy condition - it's not the pub's fault of course but it just shows lack of attention and awareness.

We visited on a Sunday afternoon and had the Sunday menu. The food was fantastic, with very generous portions, especially the ribs which were on the special menu! Great service and atmosphere.

A pleasant pub for a lunch stop on a winter drive, the fire was very welcome. The dry cured local beef on display made me think about returning for a dinner but we were limited to the toasted panini lunch menu. The bacon/cheese and tuna/cheese options with chips were tasty and just the job.
