Well as locals we went to the Trishna with trepidation last night the 18th April 2022 after our last visit. All I can say the service was good but not very busy everything but the main chicken dish I thought was nice but we ordered 3 chicken tikka pieces main course we did make comment in the restaurant as to the portion size which was very disappointing honestly a third of the portion we get as a takeaway from another local Indian takeaway. They did offer to bring additional chicken but we declined the offer as by the time you get this you've finished the meal.Trishna you need to get your act together sorry. Our previous visit was the same scenario., we thought let's give them another chance

Excellent grub! Look forward to next visit!

Very disappointed this time, we have visited this restaurant many times in the past. We ordered four meals, all different curries, but all four looked the same, a very unappetising yellow brown colour. The food tasted ok, but lacked any textures, it seemed like the chef forgot to add anything to a stock curry base. We will not rush back again.

Absolutely fantastic curry house. Can't wait to go again.

This is probably in my opinion one of the hidden Jews the food was excellent me and my wife have been coming here on and off for the last 20 to 25 years always very good and the staff are second to none ...so next time you find yourself in whalley go to the trishna you will not be disappointed 👍

Highly recommend! Amazing food with excellent customer service with a lovely welcoming atmosphere. Definitely will be coming back again

Good service but let down by a very poor kitchen. Popadoms ok, the rest of the food was inedible. We were really looking forward to it and we left disappointed.

·

Super service and food. Wide range of curries and the chef's favorites which we had were excellent.

Visited this restaurant on a weekend break and was recommended to us by a local pub. Can only say was extremely disappointed. We had a mixed starter which consisted of a Sheesh kebab onion bargi and something else that basically just looked and tasted like a typical beef burger. Over cooked and tasteless. The bargi was like a ball of batter with hardley any sign or taste of onion. The main meal afterwards didn't get any better had 2 different curries but couldn't tell the difference in taste between the two. Bland boring and tasteless. The only positive we could say is that the staff was extremely friendly.

I used to go here often but I used to get very bad food poisoning from the curry’s especially on the Sunday buffet. The staff are normally rather nice, except for the boss. From what I have heard and seen for my self he believes he is better than his customers and occasionally even talks smack about some customers once they have left.I do not go to this restaurant anymore as the atmosphere is not inviting and I do not trust Trishna anymore. Finally I had noticed and also heard from many of my friends and family that the staff waiting on don’t stay for long, either being fired or quitting. The bosses sons and family are very nice though just a shame it is ruined. I have nothing against the staff or the restaurant as a whole but it is my opinion on my own experiences.
