Were really looking forward to my chippy tea ordered a burger & chips not impressed burger tasted very plain & were a bit watery oddly & the chips were just passable I sadly won't be visiting again I'm afraid

Give it a wide birth... We were yearning for chips and gravy after taking the dog out around Stonyhurst and decided to call in here...After waiting 20 minutes for the chips to be made I had what seemed like watered down curry on my chips and the missus had watered down gravy on hers...Absolutely disgusting and both tray fulls straight in the bin 🙃 and even tho the Chippy owner has put Im a vicious liar I would like to say try his chippy and see for yourself, I have reviewd a few times now and call it exactly as I see it otherwise whats the point ?

This has blown my mind! Why have I never been here before? I visited last week and the food was amazing! Great big fat chunky chips all fluffy on the inside and a great portion to!Was served as soon as I walked in by a lovely guy and didn't wait long either, went back this week and will be back next week as well. Definitely the favourite place for take out night from now on!

Enjoyed some chips and curry sauce from here. The curry sauce was absolutely delicious, not too hot but had a tangy or sweet taste. The chips were freshly cooked, not a single potato eye in the bag. Super friendly staff, I'd definitely return as there aren't enough good chip shops in Clitheroe.

Absolutely RANK! The worst fish n Chips we have ever had….haddock beneath the undercooked batter was edible, just! Don’t waste your money!

Quality food, nipped here for Fish and Chips to park up and eat on Slaidburn Village green with a bottle of fizz. Ace, not many quality traditional chippies left but this is definitely one

Lovely people, proper old school chippy. Prices reasonable. Plastic forks were rubbish though

One of the best chippys I've had, excellent quality of food and very reasonable prices

Truthfully and honest...fish fine, batter in places thick and soggy. Chips far from fantastic...new potatoes with a darkness to some. Reviews are to help and assist buyers and owners...

Cooked all fresh as I was the only one there on a rainy Wednesday evening. Owner was lovely, friendly service and great fish, chips and peas. Also had half n half rice chips, curry sauce and fish was superb.
