I had afternoon tea with my friend, the service was excellent, the food was plentiful, there was so much that we boxed it up for later. I will definitely be visiting again.

Lovely, friendly staff. Gorgeous bacon butty today! Bonnie(the dog) always gets a treat too. Definitely recommend a visit.

I’m absolutely astonished at how rude the proprietor is . Politely asked could I place an order to receive a curt rude response with attitude reserved for a teenage tantrum! Is this an eating establishment or a drop in centre to gossip with your friends.messy disheveled space feels like your interrupting someone in there living room .

A welcoming cafe with pleasant staff and a daily changing lunchtime menu. It closes in the afternoon at 2.00 pm and reopens some evenings as a Bistro.

Visited for the first time as a guest at a friend's Diamond Wedding anniversary meal. The food was superb and Catherine gave us all a warm friendly greeting on artival before carrying on her duties in providing delicious food. I'm only sorry we don't live nearer as we would be regular visitors. Thank you for such a great night.

Absolutely brilliant from start to finish. Excellent food and delicious taste. A four course meal with generous proportions and served by a lovely and friendly staff within a cosy atmosphere.
