This has to be one of those hidden gems that you stumble across by accident or by asking "Do you know of anywhere nice for a traditional afternoon tea?" Well that's how we found out about this place. Only open Thursday's and Friday's at the moment, but open in the mornings for a sumptuous breakfast, then from lunch until 3.30pm serving a delightful couple of choices of a traditional afternoon tea, priced at £8 for the basic or £12 for the deluxe 😋 😋. Also there are choices of toasted sandwiches, quiches all served with salad etc. There is a soup of the day and the usual, tea, coffee and cold soft drinks available. If you order something off the menu other than the afternoon tea, that by the way requires ordering 24 hours in advance. If still peckish there are various dessert choices. We were visiting from Madrid and in all honesty next time we come back we will call in and tuck into one of the lovely traditional English breakfasts. Well what can I say about the staff? They are so so happy, friendly and cant do enough for you.👍👍👍👍👍

What a lovely relaxed place, food was lovely, setting is amazing!Only reason for 4 stars is that they are only open Thursday& Friday!

Home made quiche is excellent. Good coffee too.
