Fantastic service, so friendly and considerate. The food was authentic and delicious. Looking forward to going again.

Food was amazing but portion sizes were small compared to other Indian Restaurants.

·

food was tasty, would come again if that was the only deciding factor.booked for 12 people after bowling next door for my daughters birthday, portion sizes are tiny , i mean you can’t share rice or chips or sides as they are so tiny. this meant it was a very expensive meal for what we had . £300 plus for a curry with no starters or extras . i feel robbed and disappointed and embarrassed that i brought my guests here

Beautiful decor and the best staff ever! Absolutely loved our visit. It is on the pricy side but a really enjoyable visit. Great as a treat night out...

Not impressive, so dark you have to get your phone out to read the menu. The menu does not explain how hot the dishes are. The menus are tatty and need replacing. This place is on a slippery slope.Food average, prices average, service average.

This place used to be the place to go. The decor is always lovely and always done to a high standard and all the staff are friendly and welcoming... BUT in recent years, we have noticed more and more cut backs! Firstly the portion sizes started to shrink! We kept returning though as the food is still very good... however, after returning on NYE 2021, we have noticed everything that made you feel special has just stopped! Draught beer is no longer an option and you no longer get the the complimentary prosecco OR the Baileys/Brandy OR the chocolates! The food also didn't get put on the hot plates either. I'm sorry if this sounds picky but these little touches were what made the overall experience that little bit more special and set it above all the rest. After around 17 years of custom, I'm sad to say we will be looking for an alternative.

The whole family pre booked this restaurant for my nieces 30th birthday yesterday which was 19th of December. We arrived on time but waited over an hour for drinks and starters. One of the waiters was very rude and abrupt, advised if you need another drink you have to wait until the waiter that takes the drinks order, we have already asked you for drinks you should have ordered then, and promptly walked away! The food was awful- smallest starter ever, 1/2 full pickle tray and only 1 popadom per person? Some starters were missed off the order and all pre ordered mains were not done so we had to re order and wait again for mains!!! The table was a long small table so we were all cramped in and when the mains finally arrived it was horrible- my king prawn Kari was creamy??? Mild when I asked for Asian style hot and I could only eat 1 chappie as the other was raw. Again tiny portions of rice and when we complain that the butter chicken was inedible the waiter argued it was what was ordered and refused to take it away!!Finally when we all had our mains some had finished eating and the same waiter started to clear the table? Very rude when most were still eating plus my partner had a mains removed without asking first so the masala was taken still in the dish, I advised the waiter to stop removing food!!! His reply was he needed to clear things away and I had to be blunt with him before he left. With the birthday being a 30th a special birthday cake was made and brought into the unable restaurant, we were however unable to cut this and share it out as the waiter and the manager advised they could not provide a knife due to health and safety??? All in all a disastrous meal and I will never eat there again ! B

Best chicken madras I have ever had, I could have eaten it all over again as soon as I finished!! Very friendly and attentive staff, I live in Leicester and would certainly try to get back here again!

Iv been to copper pot alot over the years and always had a fantastic meal and outstanding service... greeted with a little champagne, well looked after throughout the meal and even mints and baileys at the end .. unfortunately covid has had alot of effects on local businesses so I'm guessing this is why they have stopped doing these little touches .. I visited once again for my daughters birthday had a wonderful meal but unfortunately our whole experience was ruined at the end as we was finishing our drinks and about to pay a £108 pound bill was told by member of staff to hurry up a table is waiting we had been there only 45 mins we has just literally finished eating it was a disgusting way to end our meal and made us extremely uncomfortable! Especially since we had just spent a fair good amount... the food was beautiful as always but this member of staff ruined our evening.

I stay away 5 nights a week all over the country and never normally leave review…On this occasion I must, one of the tastiest curries I’ve ever had, absolutely phenomenal.Asked the chef for a chicken jalfrezi with Keema custom dish with boiled rice and rotiOn arrival was a little disheartened with portion size but wow was the perfect true eating size and Flavour was up there in top 5 I’ve ever had…and that’s being a lot!!!10/10 would highly recommend
