Crispy Cod in Rochdale

i ordered food 4 hours ago and still not arrived I’ve rang the restaurant several times and Everytime they tell me it’s going to be 10 mins, then we ring them 45 mins later and they say it’s been “delivered”but we haven’t received anything and then they said it will be another 1hr 30 wait as they need to make the food,we asked the cancel the order and the restaurant refused to refund and said there is no way to cancel order or refund order ,wouldn’t eat from here ,disgusting customer service skills,wouldn’t recommend even trying to order from them again,shocking!!

We have ordered Fish and chips from here several times. Delivered quickly hot and fresh. Great size portions too.

New to the area so tried there both chippy and donner are the best

Just ordered a challenger kebab yet the kebab meet looks and taste like rubber and not fresh the chicken also isn’t fresh but the chips are probably the best but about them

Just ordered PLAIN BURGERgot lettuce n mayo on. Gravy was disgusting. Lumpy n would need a knife to get outta tub . Tasted disgusting.French fries were ok but chippy chips raw n looked anemiac.Wont be ordering from there again!!

Absolutly disgusting the meat had defiantly been there for days. I feel sick now the chips are frozen chips and they put the prices up get uzzy back never had this problem with him. Needs shutting down

Gone down hill quicker than a freight train with no brakes since new lot took over, ordered chicken from here on Tuesday spent every spare moment on the toilet since and only had two bites of it clearly very under cooked as it was still pink, on the inside, the speed in which this place as gone down is unbelievable I used this place regularly because it was cheap but still very nice, never again, pay that little bit extra and go up the road to upper crust at least they don’t poison you!

2 hours from ordering and still no sign of delivery! Called the restaurant who assured me it was on its way 45minutes later shows up cold. Restaurant no longer answering their calls conveniently. Very poor service. I appreciate times are hard but jesus!!

very concerned bought a donner burger with chips and a 2 piece chicken with chips. chips were really nice but donner meat on burger was burnt to the taste and felt like the sauce requested was used to drown at the taste of burnt donner meat. my partner had the 2 piece chicken and i did not let her eat as i felt that because she is pregnant could of caused serious harm and as a trained chef I am very worried that this place is allowed to cook food and think it needs a serious visit form food hygiene i feel like if i had allowed my partner to eat the meal provided she would be very ill right now what an outrageous business to let food go out i such a poor quality aspect i hope this is sorted out asap as i say the chips really nice and that was the only nice thing about it i really think that this establishment needs to check and recap the chefs training food handling and all around haccp analysis when dealing with grulls and deep fried food I am very unsatisfied with what we ordered and what was delivered . bottom line not even 1 star the chef needs to go back to college and get a approved education before even considering hand out delivered goods, not happy at all owners feel free to contact me I'm a fully trained chef and can offer advice for something you could atleast call a 3 star instead of the minus 1 it actually deserves for food quality after the reheating of meat which has definitely been frozen before hand and just frown in a half heated fryer.

Very disappointed. This was our favourite chippy. They've increased the prices, some of them 50%. But when our order arrived the portions were much smaller than they've been in the past. It seems that the new owners are already in.
