Gordon's Bistro in Rochdale

Visited the cafe today the food and service was very good. But was concerned about how clean the crockery was. Informed the young lady who served us that the teapot required throwing in the bin it was dirty, chipped and cracked. Cups required a little attention as well. Hope the teapot was binned. Please just ensure that everthing is cleaned properly prior to giving to customers.

Went today for some lunch and was really impressed , clean and great food.Our lunch was lovely , fresh and hot.The young lady that served us 'kelsi' was very polite and friendly and greeted us as soon as we sat down.Really great experienceWould definitely recommend if you're headed out to buy plants .Really nice garden centre.

Garden centre plants presented very well, neat and tidy and healthy.Lots of choice of other goods inside, a nice cafe upstairs also was very busy. Staff in all areas very pleasant and smiling.Our food order was ok but not what we expected...it wasnt particularly subtle in its presentation and was quite difficult to eat without completely disassembling it.Vanilla slice afterwards earned top marks.

Always nice to visit Gordon Rigg, whether here or at Walsden. Rochdale is a bit smaller but still packs a huge range of plants and gardening essentials, pets are not forgotten either. Café passed the toasted tea cake test with flying colours, nice big tea cake, plenty of butter and a delicious cup of Peruvian coffee. Both garden centres are highly recommended.

I am disabled and my husband, with my sister decided to go out for day at your garden centre in rochdale look round got what I need then went for cuppa and bite to eat. We all enjoyed the dinner but they where to much for us. It be nice to have choices of small portion size instead of big portion. Apart from that lovely dinner and day outThankyou. Not been for 4 years with cov19 round and recovering from cancer twice.was change to get out and about.

Great garden centre. Always well stocked up, and have such a great selection of plants bulbs and shrubs. Parking is good.

The food was amazing.I went with my wife and father-in-law.I had fish and chips with mushy peas. The size of the fish surprised me... I did not expect such a huge fish! It tasted fresh, the batter wasn't greasy and the chips were cooked to perfection.My wife had the small english breakfast, which could easily be mistaken for the large, again cooked to perfection.Decent size portions for a decent price. 👌I would definitely go again!

Used the cafe today, service was slow when not really busy, food was late and had to ask when it would be arriving. The chicken kebab was sold as yoghurt dip which was not given with the meal as sold, when requested salad cream from a waitress she said she would ask and then we never heard anything from her.Places like these take your money before you receive your food so you have no recourse but to accept poor service from I’ll trained staff.Not recommended.

An amazing garden centre , excellent displays for Christmas, loved the grotto especially as many have not had them re pandemic.Enjoyed all the displays in the garden centre and will be going back there. It wasmy first visit so can't wait to see what they have for spring

Considering the current climate my first visit today I queued for 5 minutes I then went back for a second visit and only queued for 15 minutes. The staff were very helpful and polite. I even haggled a price which they thought was a good haggle. I went in this morning and seen a good setup, being VJ Day it was good to see. Well done Guys.
