Harry's Chicken & Pizza in Rochdale

Harry's is my go-to local for fried chicken especially when I'm on the go, or tired and wishing for a quick and tasty snack. The chicken (both their 'original recipe' pieces of chicken and the hot wings) are usually very tender and juicy and somewhat of a guilty pleasure as I visit far more often than perhaps I should, though I've visited for several years now and I find the service of the team there welcoming, and the food is excellent value-for-money compared to some of the more mainstream fried chicken outlets that are around a third more expensive, that we don't even have nearby, and I don't sense Harry's are lacking on quality either as I can't notice a difference in taste, texture or quality. Friends of mine have also agreed this is some of the tastiest local fried chicken around. A special shout out to Alex, who's a real asset to the team and works hard there, and seems a very unassuming and sweet lad, though I find all of the staff pleasant. I'm usually in and out within minutes and I genuinely believe in helping local businesses especially when they're getting it right. Thanks for keeping the prices reasonable when many prices are skyrocketing as I'm sure this will encourage more custom and balance out the rockier moments of the economy at the moment. Takes too long to get your food whether your in the shop or home

Quality is terrible, small portion, overpriced mini burgers, shrivelled wings, i pulled them on the prices, seems like they're doing it to alot of their customers, i would rather go KFC, or Cheaper better quality at your neighbours Chesters. you guys should stop selling food. Really bad service. Their way or the highway... I would of given you 0 star, but i can't.

There's something iffy going on with the prices, always say one price on the phone and always is more expensive when collected. Happened on numerous occasions be aware!!!chicken burger and chips with no drink for £5.50 absolute rip of for a little piece of fried chicken in a bun

Delivery driver was polite , food was really tasty as always apart from the chicken which was dripping with grease.

Really disappointing, ordered food over the phone. When I asked about the price I was told I had the old menu so the price worked out a few pounds more which wasn't an issue. When the order arrived the same menu was included with the food. When I rang up to question this I was told I was in the right and feedback will passed to the manger (no refund or anything at all was offered). Why would you include an old menu if the prices have increased. Come on guys! Its the principle even its a few pounds. Will not order again.

The filet burger and the chicken wings with fries was alright.. But could be improved on the pizza that I ordered nice N spicy was nasty and horribly prepared it was like a child prepared it and the order arrived later than its expected time. 2 stars is generous enough don't know why I ordered from there.. Not going back there again.

Absolutely vile chicken was black inside and so dry was like it had been there all week. Chips rock hard and freezing cold. The full order was rotten I felt sick soon as I took a bite of the burger.. absolutely discusting place will never order again

Good quality pizza. Pizza base and toppings are good cooked and taste nice. Fries are good and well cooked.

At 1st this place was ok. Food was alot fresh. Then food hygiene dropped. The service is absolutely appalling. I went in and had to wait along time just to order. When they finally do take your order they wont tell you that the item is finished. So take your money 1st and after they pack your order and give it you. Then they decided to tell you Oh we've ran out of chicken wings but gave you a piece of ("dry") chicken instead. Could have told me that when I ordered. With my order I ordered some wings which looked like pigeon wings rather than chicken. When I got home rang up and told the guy who took my order. That the wings was really dry and shrivelled up. He said that's how they are. I told him I've had wings from there before and they won't like that. I asked if he would deliver a fresh portion. He was so rude on the phone. He says if you want some more come and take it yourself. I asked to speak to the owner he said he wasn't in and put the phone down. Never again.
