Have always enjoyed the food from this chippy, but the last couple of times the food has not been that great, and seems a lot more expensive, the rag pudding on one occasion wasn’t the best it was over cooked and stewed, the only thing that got eaten was the sausage the rest was binned, even the kids wouldn’t eat the food and normally they love the food from here,

Nicest fish & chips I've had for ages - crispy fish - gorgeous

Good food but slow with only one on the fryer and one serving and plaiting up for deliveries at the same time. Tasted well but very, very expensive at over £10 for a pie, rag pudding, portion of chips tub of peas and a tub of gravy. Our local but I will go that little bit further and save a fiver in future.

AbsAbsolutely perfect service. Choice of batter on fish, regular or light. I choose the light batter which is cooked to perfection. Next the home made cheese and onion pie is to die for. The best home made pie I've ever had from a fish and chip shop. The menu selection is extensive and well thought out. Prices more than reasonable. Portion sizes large enough to share the chips from a full meal. I add an extra item, eg a pie

This is a gorgous little chip shop, it is always clean & the food they serve is delishous, a brillient local chippy.

The chips and gravy are so fresh and delicious, there is usually a que outside and for good reason, is quite exspensive £3 for chips and gravy.
