Mike's Chippy in Rochdale

Very typical food from a very typical chip shop. Nothing to write home about.

Great traditional chippy and very friendly staff!

Someone mentioned the fish was good and they wasn't wrong.

Amazing fish and chips

I usually Don't Eat Chips ,but I was asked to Taste the Mike's Fish and chips and gravy topped Meal ,against My Own Experiance I Did place the order and Picked it up. At home Infront of TV served it on a plate as It was and Took a bite Thinking Gravy had ruined it. First bite felt Really surprising 2nd Bite i made sure I had ChipsFosh Gravy Lemon saltvinagre on and My Mouth was Having A Party ,(since Covid 2020 my meal portion size gone down to medium Adult Half Portion to Medium size KID meal, this Meal was Large + adult Meal, I Enjoyed Every bite and Chased the next bite. And beleive me since covid I've not ones Been able to eat a Full adult Meal neverntye less the Size Mike's Meal wasI NEVER LEACE A REVIEW ON first date with my Meal, so The very Next day I went and Orderd the same and was expecting yesterdays taste wasn't gonna ve the same as the one I had Ordered , well for the 2nd time My Mourh my Stomack where having such a blast. DAMN NICE FISH CHIPS and Gravy topped with Saltwinagre ans Lemons.This Guy didn't have a Clue he was serving A Head chef ,but Man he nailed it 10/10I actually walked back and Told the man how I lived His Meal and I have probebly found top Contender! In any Style of cookingKeeo the good Job ,if you are passning by or even on mororway and wanna stop for a bite the extra mile and half is worst the Mouthgasem you are gonna GIVE THIS GUY A TRY and Please Mention Tommy the Head chef Sends his regards

Most of my chips were crunchy ... had kebab meat he went in back to get it it and it was all in bits when i got it home... my partners fish had soggy batter.

Shocking food.kebab is 6 quid for a tiny portion.nan bread was rock solid and the meat was full of hard tooth breaking bits.used to be a good chippy,but not any more

Gravy tasted off nothing litturly the peas was too running was more like runny peas than mushy peas ,sausages where definitely not freshly cooked more like the afternoons sausages rewarmed,chips was the only thing what was nice

Travelled from out of town after recommendations. Absolutely loved it and all cooked fresh. Definitely making this my go to chippy from now.
