Had a nice potato pie and cabbage washed down with a pot of tea.Lovely cafe in the middle of the countryside

Lovely tea gardens frozen in time. The just as I remember it as a child. I only wish it was open all weekend. Great weather coffee and scones and lovely walks in the area.

Because it's simple good food.....bringing back childhood memories.My mother went as a child 80 years, ago and I have taken my family there since they were small! It's not open all year though, so check the opening times.Lovely chicken, chips, fish fingers and all the other things kids (big and small) love!!Have a lovely walk before or after, around the paths and countryside. A lovely afternoon for all the family.

Lovely fresh food all home cooked. Menu is quite short on choice, but the quality of the food really does make up for this. Set in a beautiful setting, it's an idyllic escape. Surprisingly busy, considering it's so well hidden away.

A step back in time that is enjoyable and created nostalgia for Sunday tea at my Nan's in the 60s and 70s. Wrap up warm and enjoy great old fashioned café food prepared fresh on site and in lovely wooded surroundings. Can highly recommend their full tea with trifle and their scones are the absolute best... even better than my Nan's were and my mum-in-laws are (and they're good! ). Just go and enjoy! You will be back time and again but sadly, only on a Sunday!
