Ocean Lounge in Rochdale

Unfortunately I was disappointed, main meals very bland.

My Grandsons took me for Mothers day. The food was lovely and staff where excellent.

Great food & service. Will definitely be back.

Had a lovely Chinese meal here Easter Sunday lunchtimeish I was in food heaven n so was my partner too!

Some of the best oriental food in the area, I prefer this over the restaurants in Manchester city centre.Wide range of food and drinks menus, food tastes awesome

Absolutely appalled by our visit here last night on Christmas eve. Been coming here for 8 years with family to celebrate Christmas, but next year we will be going elsewhere.I'm vegetarian and when we booked, we was promised it wouldn't be an issue.Not only did they serve me a duck spring roll... But then they proceeded to serve me with half a Lettuce and some gruel looking garbage as in photos to put in a wrap. Then thought it was fair to charge £38 for this! They tried putting 10% service charge on top, which we asked to be removed as service was a joke. We were in there for over 3 painful hours and food was cold to lukewarm at best. Absolute disgrace, ruined our night completely! My elderly dad went on to get food poisoning! Would give 0 stars if I could!

Restaurant-quality food at takeaway prices! The special vegetarian stir-fry was, I think, the most delicious thing I've ever eaten. I don't live in Middleton but I'll make a point of ordering from Ocean Lounge next time I'm in the area.

Usually order delivery from here, called in the other day and as always friendly, foods good and reasonably priced. Been ordering for years, no complaints 😊👍

We booked a table for 7pm, 24 hours coming, they said that was fine. We arrived for 7 and were seated, handed a menu, and our drink order taken. 30 minutes later, they finally took our order. 30 minutes after that our soup arrived. 50 minutes after that, we complained to a waitress as to how slow our service was being. Most of our food was cold when it arrived. The chicken and sweet corn soup was horrifically thick and my friend described it as “essentially solid”. The next dish (that took 50 minutes) arrived and was 8ish chicken skewers... that were cold, like really cold.My main arrived and I’d ordered a chicken balti (I don’t really do Chinese but my friends wanted it and so I went along), my ‘balti’ was a Chinese curry with just added seasoning. It was definitely not a balti. And unfortunately, some of the chicken breast was actually raw in the centre.We had finally paid by 10pm. We were there for 3 hours. We won’t be going again.

Really fantastic food, great portion sizes- and they're happy to package it for you to take your leftovers home! I really like the original features in the architecture, it used to be a pub and they've kept some of that, whilst also updating it to feel like a lovely restaurant. Extremely friendly staff. Not much else to be said, it was great!
