The Baum in Rochdale

Although this visit was a lunchtime coffee , I have in past eaten here the food is good , the staff friendly and helpful .The pub itself is old and has a lovely atmosphere . With a nice beer garden .

Went out with my husband for a meal as we havent been out since covid started. The meals were very tasty and well cooked. The food did take abit to come to our table but apart from that no complaints

Ordered a starter with mention of mustard, but was filled with mustard seeds.Main course was steak & Stilton pie, mostly Stilton with massive chunks of Stilton all over the plate.Never once asked if anything was ok.The food was bloody awful and would never eat here again 🤮

Terrible food. 7 of us were far from impressed. £12.50 for steak pie and chips. It was the smallest pie I have ever seen and the crust was hard. No veg. The chicken was dry. The salad consisted of lettuce, lettuce and lettuce with no dressing.In these days where pubs have upped their game The Baum has gone backwards.We shall not go back!

Friendly staff, nice building.Cold feet, cold food, no veggie food except a burger. Not sure decaf was decaf as still buzzing at 3 in the morning. Definitely wouldn't go back.

First visit in ages due to COVID etc. Lovely friendly atmosphere, attentive staff who go out of their way to make you welcome. Christmas menu a bit restricted but still easy to find something delicious. My partner and I had the turkey dinner, very nice.

Really peaceful place to meet.The garden is definitely my favourite part also if the interior are properly decorated in a nice retro style.Nice choice of gin and tonics and tasty appetizers

Great pub in a small heritage area of Rochdale. Lots of woodwork. Pub looks old but don't know if it is. Lovely, friendly staff. Selection of real ales on handpump. Good selection of foreign beers including quite a few from Belgium. Leffe on draft. Food is delicious. Beer garden at back. This is a hidden gem, try it.

Amazing. Went there tonight with family. Ordered some delicious food, some very tasty drinks. Huge selection of beers from all over the world. Nice cost surroundings, good facilities and friendly staff. Can't rate highly enough!
