The Bulls Head in Rochdale

Lovely meal at a gem of a traditional pub.Food cooked lovely, piping hot, and plates actually hot as well.We had a nice walk over to Hollingworth Lake and back, then finished off at the Bulls Head for early tea. Will defo be returning soon.Just wish I’d had room for their sticky toffee pudding because I’ve had it there before - maybe next time 😋

This is an old pub serving lovely food. The homemade chips are fab and no longer served in many places. Very reasonably priced and most enjoyable

Good old fashioned country pub/restaurant next to the reservoir. Quiet but busy place. Good food, friendly staff. Never had a bad experience here. Try it. Car park opposite.

We booked for a party of 8 on a Sunday afternoon, and everything was spot on. The standard menu is supplemented by a range of specials and (as it was Sunday) a choice of two roast dinners. Everything was reasonably priced, service was attentive and the portions were ample. Will definitely return.
