This place has gone down hill! The food was expensive for what was served and the staff not that friendly. It's a shame there was nobody in the pub and it was Friday lunchtime, most Fridays people would be waiting for the place to open

So waited over an hour for food tonight for the meals to be awful, the chips must have been bad potatoes chicken was anemic and sent back still cost us 33.00 as my daughter ate her burger and my partner are his tiny piece of steak and 3 drinks very disappointed ended up at McDonald's on the way home,. Will not be going again as this is my second bad experience here which is a shame as the pub is in a lovely location 😩

Went today..the girl who served us was lovely. We sat outside with table service and had the Cheese and Onion pie which was absolutely superb!! Called over the weekend as well whilst dog walking and all the girls doing table service were just as lovely. Superb food and service. Cant recommend enough in these unprecedented times. Felt very safe xx

·

Nice quaint little pub. Nice food, good selection of draught beers. On this visit, the service was somewhat lacking, and we felt ignored.

Ive been a couple of times in the last few weeks and really enjoyed both times, the staff are lovely and friendly and the food is gorgeous, the mash and swede is to do die for and the fish pie was beautiful, met some friends and we all had a sweet and they were beautiful too, would definitely recommend x

nice selection of ales and very friendly bar staff, went for the Cumberland sausage bar snack and it was very tasty and in very nice surroundings.

The view is really neat from here. It's a little trek to get to, but worth it. Quite a lot of parking spaces. Great selection on the menu (just a bit too pricey for my budget). Staff were extremely pleasant. It can get very busy, but we did enjoy our visit (for liquid refreshment)
