I want to extend our heartfelt gratitude to an excellent services given by Moorcock Inn Manager Darren and Vicky. We are also happy with very helpful happy staff Karen. They all made our 3 nights stay enjoyable and delighted. We also love their breakfast, lunch and dinner cuisine. We also enjoyed their spectacular view. Just had a lovely meal at the Moorcock. Was very busy but service was still great. Had the chicken curry and it was yummy. Lovely staff, they go the extra mile. Will be back soon

Great location with acceptable food, but little consideration given to the current pandemic... After we had started our meal a large group was sat at tables either side of us, they were constantly talking (and potentially spreading CV19) across our family, despite their being other empty tables.

Good priced drinks! Actually good pub food for a great price! 5 of us eat different meals and every single one of us was impressed. Nice attentive staff too. One of the better Littleborough eatieries/pubs.

Just been and had some dinner here with my wife, parent’s and 2 small children. From the minute we walked through the door to the minute we left we were made to feel like the only people in there even though it was busy. The staff were amazing, Rory (waiting on tables) was polite and chatty and nothing was to much trouble. Darren was lovely coming to check on us and having a little chat in between. This is a lovely pub with amazing people working in there and the food is gorgeous! I’m a stickler for hot food and they didn’t disappoint. Will be back here very soon!!! Thank you.

Thank you Darren and staff for a wonderful evening tonight at your taster evening for your new menu. My friends and I wish you all the very best. All the food we tasted was extremely good. We look forward to seeing you all again very soon.Kath, Ann and Alison

Wanted this place to do better.. sadly its only getting 2 stars. The food is cheap. But its under average.. the pea and ham soup is basically a tin of mushy peas.( pic ) .the garlic bread was a toasted hot dog bun cut in half. The burger was OK but oven chips 😳🤢. Rag pudding was OK tho.. but the beef dinner and hot beef sandwich was neither hot or tasty... grey and tasted cheap...the service was slow. Very slow and it wasn't that busy. They forgot 1 round of drinks and they seemed to turn the heat up as we arrived it was uncomfortably hot. The white house about a mile further up the hill...is a lot better
