Wilton Arms Hotel in Rochdale

Stopped in here to have food, looks a nice place food was what you’d expect nothing that blows the mind but it’s a good meal and was happy with service and facilities that they had. Would go again. Clean, friendly and a warm meal what more do you want for the price.

Had a lovely visit recently on my travels. The food was amazing. Well presented. I passed my complements on at the time to the chef with the black hat but couldn't remember his name after leaving.The staff serving were very friendly and helpful. Over all a really good visit. Will definitely come back if I'm passing again.

Lovley food lovely staff only problem was that we couldn't get the app to work and was sternly told that we should of ordered at the bar and that they would only take order from table because they were quite this would of been helpful information to let us know when they were seating us particularly as we sat in the restaurant side and not on the bar side

Great food,great service and nice selection of drinks! Came in yesterday and I'm not going to lie. Considering how busy the kitchen was the food was spot on! Hot, decent portions and yummy. Would happily come back and highly recommend!!

We went on good Friday. I don’t usually post reviews but was enticed in by the 2 for £10. Went to the bar to order and they had no coke only Pepsi max so got 2 lemonades, both tasted flat and watery. Food arrived, starters were actually nice albeit small. Ordered fish and chips and vegetable lasagne. Fish and chips were awful, stodgy and not nice tasting, worse one I tasted. Vegetable lasagne also wasn’t nice. Service was perfect, prices reasonable if food wasn’t awful, and drinks flat. Probably best to avoid this one unfortunately. Thank you for your response, how do you propose to put it right?

The food was excellent on my latest visit 5 April.partially because the chef on that visit could obviously cook. in the past I had cause to send food back. but could not fault the price or the food on this occasion. Place very clean and well decorated.

Came in last night to celebrate a friends 21st! There was 12 of us and the food was great! Steak was cooked spot on and generous portions.. couldn't fault anything from start to finish

Five of us went for Mothers Day. It wasn't really busy considering the day. We were seated and I informed the waitress we were waiting for two more people. We weren't asked if we would like a drink and we weren't told that a waitress wouldn't be taking our order and we would either have to order it at the bar or via the app. We found this out after waiting over 20 minutes for someone to come to us. We had to attract their attention and then we ordered.Three meals took about 40 mins to come to the table. We had finished eating before the other two came out. Just before we'd finished our three meals, a member of staff came over and apologised for the delay. When we asked why there was a delay. We were informed the chicken hadn't been prepared. The chicken meal was from the " Sunday lunch" menu. The other was from the " vegetarian Sunday lunch" menu. The roast potatoes and parsnips were dried out as though they had been there for hours. We asked to speak to the manager and actually had to ask the waitress again if we could speak to them. The manager was very understanding, she apologised that the two meals had " been forgotten " , which isn't what we were originally informed. She also agreed the food served was not of acceptable standard. The cost of the two meals was deducted from the bill. It was an extremely disappointing meal for us all, especially as it was for Mothers Day. I have to say we chose The Wilton as we have been there not too long ago and it was throughly enjoyable, but unfortunately we will not be returning any time soon

Went for the 1st time food was excellent and the staff so friendly. Am funny when it comes to food the chef did a perfect job, definitely be back and recommend to everyone 😀

An omnivore, carnivore, vegetarian and vegan went to eat here and all of us found something on the menu from the wide choices available. Staff make you more than welcome and provide attentive service. Good food was eaten heartily. A range of drinks too go with the food. A good place for an evening meal.
