Excellent little chip shop, not tried the Chinese food yet but every cooked so fresh in the chip shop, curry sauce to die for and good old chunky chips would definitely recommend

Went today me wife and daughter had chip barms.Excellent chippy.The owner was a really nice chap,well mannered and sincere and he,s a man united fan so it,s a 5 star from me.

UNCOOKED FOOD GIVEN WRONG ORDER waste of money Wow just wow I used to come here all the time and what can I say it’s been turned into a downgrade to the local chippy everyone knows and loves 2 girls loads of makeup on don’t really know what their doing don’t really care should I say. They can’t even cook the chips properly I can assure you I won’t be coming back and I would honestly recommend staying away.

This chippy is one of the best in the valley great quality food with suitable prices. The manager is very friendly and you can have a laugh with him both members of staff are very friendly ive known Vicky since she started working there and she’s very well presented always professional and very happy even if only in work. I personally feel like she does too much when she’s on a shared shift as you mainly see Vicky in the front and the new girl (Lucie) in the back or chatting to customers but not taking orders I feel like a jobs a job and you shouldn’t put all the work in the hands of one employee even though she handles it very well most times you think it’s only Vicky working even when there are 3 members off staff. I understand Lucie had only been their a few months but she should definitely know what the job intails and the prices sometimes I’ve seen Vicky really busy and Lucie had stopped her to check the prices I understand it’s new but it’s right in front of them.

The food is lovely Vicky and Lucie are very friendly( vickys my favourite as she’s been there the longest and has the nicest face) but the manager Denis if I’m correct is so rude and bad mannered not to the customers but to his staff honestly people see you treating them like you do and it’s not a good luck I understand you have abit of banter but last time I was in the chippy he spoke to Vicky like complete and utter trash I honestly don’t know how she still works for you especially when at one point she was the only member of staff you had you should treat her with abit more respect you wouldn’t appreciate it if she spoke to you like that I understand she never would because she’s just too lovely to even imagine such thing. And it’s not the first time as I’ve been coming in since Sam( vickys sister) worked their and it’s been going in since Vicky first started and I can say she’s been there about 6 maybe 7 years now.

I have been coming here for years so glad to see sams sister still working here she's so lovely I've met the new girl lucy(I think).. she's a lovely girl but needs to remember people see her outside of work aswel as in work so today when I saw drunk mid day I was in sheer shock is this the reputation you'd want your staff giving your buisness? And I'm sure she's supposed to be in work tonight but we shall see but all in all great food great manager

Best chippy in bacup area,, lovely food at great prices..Very friendly and pleasant staff always greeted with a smile especially of lucie highly recommend
