Cock & Magpie in Rossendale

Really nice pub, food looked good, as only popped in for a quick drink. Nice little beer garden and pleasant staff.

Only called in for one drink, made to feel very welcome. Very friendly staff and a lovely pub. Hopefully eat here one day, the food looked good.

We stopped off here after a hike. Very nice and welcoming inside. Nice open space in the beer garden where we enjoyed out drinks.

First time we have eaten here, Staff lovely, lovely atmosphere, food very nice will definately go back 😊

Nice lunch and a great pint of Robinson's. Friendly staff, well kept pub, look forward to returning.

Even though the pub was severely under staffed due to covid. The managment managed to fit us in on newyears day at short notice . The service was excellent and the food was fantastic. Will definatly be coming back.

Been in a number of times since the refurb but this time for food, which was excellent. Went for the mixed grill and I was not disappointed.I must say that the young lady who works behind the bar has grown in confidence and was excellent. Not the cheapest but you get what you pay for. Top notch, would highly recommend.

Had a lovely meal with my parents, haven't seen them since Xmas 2019 , dad and I had haddock in beer batter, large portions and lovely crisp batter with beautifully cooked fish, chips were gorgeous. Mum had steak with all the trimmings must say it all looked perfect and they both enjoyed their meal . The landlord came over for a chat and everyone was very welcoming. Would definitely recommend , it has a very cosy welcoming atmosphere with a big log burner and comfy chairs, perfect!

Nice style traditional pub with 'shoe vs boots' split function offerings. Good drinks range, beer garden with convenient location for reservoir walks.Appealing menu sadly currently let down by service errors (missing item and refrigerated dessert pancake), that were quickly corrected... albeit after odd defensive and sit-beside-you enquiry.Hopefully teething flaws that will get sorted so matches potential.

Really nice food and friendly staff will be going again
