We are staying at Burr’s Country Park, after a lovely journey on the steam train to Rawtenstall we were ready for brunch. We came up on The Fig Tree, a really pretty cafe on the Main Street and thought we would have to sit outside with our Beagle, but we. received the warmest welcome indoors with him. The new owner even brought Boomer a big piece of chicken. The food was superb and had a great atmosphere. Highly recommend this beautiful cafe/bistro.

A nice cosy place, excellent food. Went over and above with customer service, even gave me some extra milk for my latte which was much appreciated.

Excellent food, great environment, very reasonable prices, only one fault the waitress never smiles and is not friendly ☹️Great decor.

What a gem of a place. The atmosphere is so welcoming. The food, classic sandwiches, carrot cake was excellent and to top it off homemade vanilla custard ice cream, which was to die for.Mark and staff couldn't do enough for us.Will definitely be back.Thank you.

Lovely little cafe on the side of bank Street. There is outside parking and a fair few tables. The downside is they allow table reservation and sometimes when you walk in more than half is reserved and people are coming in and out or then asking if it's OK to share a table.Food is nice however options are limited. The soup of the day is always good and the bread is fresh. It's a pity the wedges do not have a hand-cut home made feel and the sandwiches are also nice.A bit baffled with the crisps and micro salad on the plate but it does offer a nice little extra. The coleslaw is creamy and nice. The price is a little above average as a little more and you could get a two main meals at other establishments rather than sandwiches, soup and wedges.Nice addition to Rawtenstall and people are friendly. An added bonus is the colouring books and pens for kids. The seating is a little cramped but it's not so bad. Lovely place and will visit again.
