Wow. Just wow.The atmosphere is fantastic. The food was very good. The cocktails were "mostly" excellent. Their "Firepit Punch is very drinkable. As is their version of a zombie.Have to be honest, I wasn't keen on their long Island. Sorry. There were 6 of us that went for a meal and drinks. 2 didn't drink (designated drivers), 3 of us polished off about 5 cocktails each and 1 had 3 glasses of Prosecco. We all had starters and mains and the bill came to just less than £300.It's good quality food with good quality drinks and a great atmosphere. Their prices do reflect this but I have to say, this is a prime example of getting what you pay for.WE WILL BE GOING BACK AGAIN.Had an amazing time. Thank you to all the staff. Very well done.

Enjoyed a meal for 2 here last Thursday. The place was very noisy, the waiting on staff were very friendly but a little forgetful.. (waiter forgot my drink, then forgot my sauce later). My hanging steak apparently came with some nice flat breads, in fact it was just a small warmed up pitta... Chips weren't hot, but steak was cooked nicely. All in all, don't think I'd go here again for a nice meal for 2, rather If I was with a bigger group of people...

Booking was easy, staff was on it and very polite, cater to every need and drinks were served quick! However, I asked for medium rare and the steak was well done! The steak was so salty I couldn’t taste anything else but salt, was left gasping for another drink! Overpriced and the staff was the only thing good about the experience 😁

It was okay. The food was good to fair, certainly nothing to complain about. Inside the place is nicely done. The staff were friendly enough but very poorly trained; no scanning tables, no steps of service at all, waited an age to order in an empty place. No check back or even offers for more drinks. More proactive staff would make this venue better.

Out for a birthday celebration on Saturday with 5 others. We were sat at a half moon table with a chair at the end for the sixth person. The service was a slow but they were busy in fairness, our drinks ordered we were give plenty of time to order our meals which was good. The starts arrived except one waited a couple of minutes then started ours the server was told about the missing meal. Most of us had finished when the missing starter turned up, not idea. Before our meal came we replenish our drinks, good but they did take the empties away, not good. Our various meals arrived more or less together looking very tasty. I had the chicken platter (posh KFC) it was OK. had better. There were a few negative remarks a out half of the meals, but they wouldn't of caused us any harm. Only one person chose dessert the rest of us didn't want to take a chance se we had coffee I think a better option, even the server commented on the desserts, not good.Would I go again or recommend this place definitely NOT

Booked the valentines deal for me and my partner, £40 each for 3 courses was definitely not a bad deal, and the menu was anything but limited. The place was packed and had a really nice atmosphere. I admit the food was taking longer than usual to come out but it’s valentines it’s fully booked so it’s going to take a bit longer for obvious reasons. All the waitresses/waiters were really polite and helpful we were there for around 3 hours but it was nice to have our courses a little bit spread out, the music was really nice as well.Heard some people complaining and being really rude so I just want to clear things up:1. We waited longer than usual for our food yes, but if you look around and if you eat out on valentines what are you expecting?2. Drinks service was very fast can’t fault it.3. Our desserts did take a long time and we was sent the wrong desserts but it’s not the end of the world and definitely not worth crying or walking out over, when I explained we had a taxi booked they were very quick to try and get our desserts to us.4. Despite not officially complaining one of the members of the team came over and was really polite and understanding and took a very generous amount of our bill which was much more than I expected and appreciated this so much.5. It’s literally just been redone, all the tables are in different places with different numbers and they have had limited time to get used to this before such a busy night.6. All the staff were always working and trying their hardest.7. Any small issue we had tonight was corrected immediately and very professionally.8. Despite a few hiccups our night was amazing, food was incredible, atmosphere was perfect, prices were very reasonable for valentines especially for 3 courses. So if you let any small inconvenience with your meal on valentines ruin your night then you’re not in the right company me and my boyfriend had a laugh the whole way through and enjoyed every bit of it. So if you were rude to any of the staff tonight after all the effort they put in you are a horrible stuck up person and clearly have never worked in hospitality and realise how hard work it is!Thank you to everyone at The Firepit tonight, you did an amazing job.

The fillet steak on a stone was lovely, it was just a shame I had no drink to go with it.! unfortunately the service let it down, so so slow in getting drinks, even after first arriving we waited ages and had to go and ask to order drinks..not good. Ordered a bottle of wine when our main meal arrived but it never turned up. If these issues were fixed and staff given direction it would be amazing here.

Went on Tues 13th April. Staff were so busy but always smiled and made you feel at ease. The Scallops were the best I've EVER tasted and my steak was perfect as usual. Loved the full menu of food and drinks were available even with the restrictions. Well done The Firepit, amazing as usual.
