A little quiet on Friday night but good beer

Should not be advertised as a family pub , if so it is the most unfriendly family pub I have ever been in , went there with my family which included 4 children between the ages 16 months and five years, was told the children had to remain seated while waiting for food , we was made to feel very uncomfortable and one of the bar staff was very rude and could do with a course in customer service , will not be visiting again!!!

Haven't been to the woolpack for years will defo go again, such friendly staff good food and so good with children even came and gave them treats for being good 👍 brilliant x

Clean tidy very friendly staff, a rather fine establishment. Plenty of space to to sit talk. My friend had a beer I'd a coffee both were fine. Not a pub I've been in for 40 years so many changes. Didn't visit the toilets though don't doubt for a second their equally splendid.Great place right on the end of the bypass. Enjoyed our visit.

It's larger pub than appears from outside, very clean and welcoming. Very well prepared pool table n darts. Outside area is neat.

I live locally but I've never been in for a breakfast until today. Both me and my wife ordered a mega breakfast and I have to say it was one of the best breakfasts I've eaten in a long time. Everything on the plate was cooked beautifully and was served piping hot. We will most definitely be returning in the future.

Friendly staff, great food and reasonable prices

I went with a group of volunteers for our local foodbank for a Christmas Dinner, it was lovely, the staff were helpful and obliging, the food was extremely good, tasty and hot.The service was quick and efficient.Will definitely be going there again.

My first time here, I visited with some work colleagues who've been working from home for a while so it was nice to get together.There was a little bit of weirdness when we asked if we could move tables to a sunnier area and I should mention that we asked for an outside, but covered table as rain was expected, however when we got there it was nice and sunny so we asked to sit in the sun. There seemed to be some difficulty and if the place was busy I would understand, but the place had only about 3-4 tables being used so there were lots of free tables in sunnier spaces. However after the initial difficulty we were soon seated and given menus and drinks.The meals were good and the attention from the servers was excellent. I had Hunter's Chicken which was a little messy, but very tasty and overall it was a nice lunch and I will definitely visit again.
