Been here a number of times now and always enjoy the food.Value for money. However today one of the girls decided to start cleanimg the tables next to us and the spray didn't go down well with my breakfast, School boy error. She was very polite though, so top marks.

Some of the food wasn't too bad, but my nephew had to cut his mashed potato with a knife looked more like playdough than food. Was rather warm an stuffy, also the app wasn't working very well so my sister had to place our order at the bar. On the plus side I enjoyed my cake away.

Went to Barley Farm tonight for the carvery dinner with family from Australia, was greeted by a lovely lady called Yvonne and even though it was very busy she sorted a table out for us quite quickly. We all enjoyed our roast dinners and would happily recommend and come again. Thanks to everyone.

I think food would've been palatable (Carvery) were it nice and hot. I really didn't enjoy my meal at all. Didn't eat much of it in the end.Staff were very apologetic and we're always polite from the moment I walked in so ★★.I was there yesterday 20th May, 2022 in the evening.I opted for the Carvery Roast beef & all the trimmings. The vegetables were tired and unappealing though I still thought they'd taste nice. I was wrong!I ended up eating just the mash and roast beef and washed them down with a nice cup of tea.The member of staff that served me were ever so polite, I mean really so, quite refreshing!I feel bad giving a poor review because they were so good but I tell only my truth.More detail.↑↑

Loved every minute, even though it was really busy due to rugby. Beer and food was bang on! I normally drink IPA, but Paul recommended the new Black sheep pale ale. Wow so nice, he knows his stuff. And you can tell he is proud of how good his beer is.Keep it up Paul, we will definitely be back 👍👍👍👍

Amazing food as per usual, Amazing front of house member of staff who's name was Denise, I like to leave a fair and honest review but the serving of carvery meat was extremely poor and considering I paid extra to enjoy the benefits of extra meat I was disappointed with my child's portion, hopefully this can be rectified in the future for other patrons and lessons can be learnt from my review, but other than the tiny rations of meat, The service was fantastic and the vegetables were delicious, I can not give a honest opinion of the meat as it was too sparing to leave a positive impact on myself. Despite the lack of carvery meat for myself and my family I have still left a 5 star review and hopefully after almost 2 years of almost being closed due to covid, I can understand the server of the meat is hopefully learning that when someone purchases a ultimate carvery they expect that.

Carvery was lovely, but if you want anything else its a shame unfortunately, service and staff were terrible, don't advise dinning there. In reply to your reply Sam,it was the staff,I asked for bread and butter and she brought brown which I can't eat so tutted as she walked off to exchange it for me and brought me two pieces of hard white bread, which I then had to get up and change myself,I was also brought a dirty cup with my cup of tea,I asked for a clean one from one of your gentleman staff to be told to go to the bar for a clean one, were there wasn't anyone there to ask, terrible service unfortunately.

Hi, we came to the Barley on Valentines night, we had a very friendly greeting by Denise who was only too happy to accommodate the fact I was in a wheelchair and had limitations, we were seated in a nice quiet area and enjoyed our meals, certainly plenty for your money, we didn't have the carvery but we did see the size of a large plate which was massive. Of course every meal out deserves a pudding so I selected some different flavours of ice cream and a slice of lemon cake to take away. We had a very enjoyable evening so thank you Denise. UUnfortunately the only down side was the lemon cake was burnt down the sides, but covered over with butter cream.

Now then, what have we here. We’ve got some delightful carvery options. We’ve got some top notch slow-roasted meats with a load of different veg and other treats to fill your belly with. I’ll be back here soon I’d imagine. As you’ll see on the photos below those roasted meats will make your mouth water whilst you wait in line to be served (don’t worry we didn’t have to wait long either).
