Blacksticks Restaurant & Bar in Salford

Lovely food, specially the Spanish Tapas. Staff is lovely and very professional. Highly recommended.

My wife and I went there on Saturday night to celebrate a relations birthday, The meal was booked for 8pm, and we duely seated upstairs...The food and service was quick and efficient, prices we're reasonable and we all had a great time.... ( This was a party of 13)....only one small minor concern,. towards the end of the meal, our table was full of empty glasses and side plates etc ..and we all felt as though the waiter's could have cleared our table to allow us a bit more room for the desserts and birthday cake....this minor hiccup in no way detracted from the overall experience.....and we would gladly recommend anyone to visit.....

The food was delicious and the ambiance was absolutely superior . Wine selection was great as well . Possibly the best restaurant on this street way better than a lot of city center restaurants I have tried. Good job!

As a rule I would have stated 5 stars. On this occasion it was my mother's 80th birthday. It felt extremely unorganized throughout the evening /service. Menu change which was not pick up in advance. Not the best on this occasion for me. Plus the menu change wasn't for me 😳

Not so impressed this time!We were only the second group in the place for lunch when we arrived at 13:05. Staff seemed disinterested, almost condescending, when I checked after waiting over 20 mins for food, if it would be ready soon as our parking was expiring. A couple had arrived after us and were served before us and it still took another 15 mins after that for the food to arrive at 12:55. That left us 10 mins to eat - not great service at all!My tapas was nice overall - meatballs were gorgeous, croquettes were soft and gooey (my 2 year old ate most of them!) but the patatas bravas were somewhat bland with the sauce having no kick and the tomato toasts were just ordinary.Previously: Great venue for a cosy little party.

Absolutely incredible! Food was 10/10, staff were super friendly and the service was very efficient. We had the Roast dinner (available on Sundays), and finished off with Sticky Toffee Pudding. Wonderful atmosphere, will certainly be revisiting!

Great service, good food, reasonably priced for the level of food and service. They need something to help with noise, it's small and it echoes which makes it hard to hear when its crowded.

Blacksticks has stood the test of time. A well established and very popular resuraunt in Monton. The menu had been refreshed since my last visit and offered a good choice - I loved the open beef wellington - thank you very much. Staff are on the ball, helpful and courteous and everything is reasonably priced. Give it try. I'm sure you will enjoy it.
